KATIVABrazilian Straightening Kit

This is the first time I have used this product, I have previously had treatment done in Salons twice at £150 a time.I come across this on here and thought I would give it ago.Applying the treatment was time, although I applied to to thicker sections at a time than it mentions but applied well and I still had product left at the end.I had difficulty with the drying stage as it states that hair needs to be dry, which is difficult when having product on hair, my hair takes a long time to dry as it is. But I done the best I could.When straightening, again, I done bigger sections than stated, and it does smoke slightly due to product and I probably had more excess on there due to struggling with the drying. But I found going over sections not too slow and more times helped.When rinsing product off in the shower it felt so much better straight away, applied shampoo twice as first time didn't lather enough but much better second time and then applied provided conditioner.When started drying at a downwards angle without brush, it was drying so smooth and soft with a great shine. Finished off with straightening which took no time at all.End result, I am very pleased, my hair is smooth with no frizz, lovely and straight with a beautiful shine. Will await to see what my hair is like after a night's sleep.Looking at what shampoo and conditioner to purchase, to avoid sulfates and salt, have taken a look at kativa option, hasn't got great feedback but I have looked at the ingredients and it doesn't have the ones you should avoid. I think people are weary because there are alot of ingredients out there that are similar and they assume they are the same thing. Which they are not. So I think I'm going to give kativa shampoo and conditioner ago and see how I get on with it and decide for myself.Great value for what the end result is, fingers crossed it lasts a while with strict up keep, if so I would definitely buy again as it has saved me like £140

Good and reliable

I used today so I don't know how long it will last but my first impression is that it works. It was a little tricky to blow dry my hair after applying the keratin and that s why I put four stars. It took more than half an hour to fully dry them. Maybe I should have removed more product. There were a lot of fumes and bad smell coming from my hair during that time. My fire alarm turned on 😅 it took me about 3 hours to finish the whole process. If the result lasts, I will definitely buy it again

It works!!, im not guna lie, it took ages to do but I have very long hair. Its texture is very curly and frizzy but this is amazing, my hair is now straight, sleek and shiny. Once I'd completed the "faff on" getting it done, my hair took alot less time to blow dry and to straighten. Been to work today and had several nice comments from strangers saying they like my hair 😄 I hope it stays the same after I wash it againUpdate, just washed it again and i could tell it was still working because my hair is usually curly even when wet. I still blow dried it and the difference was amazing, it was no where near as frizzy. I still ran my straightens through and my hair is so soft and shiny. I will defo buy again!!!

The worst keratin treatment I’ve ever used. The results are poor – after the first wash, my hair looked almost the same. I spent 3 hours applying it and my hair doesn’t even feel nourished. A complete waste of time and money .

Was sceptical about this product but thought for the price it’s worth a try. I must admit it’s very time consuming but the results are worth it! Used on my daughter’s hair and she’s made up with it. No more frizz, before and after pics shown , I didn’t use straighteners for end results just a quick blow dry

The product is truly worth the money never expected my hair will ever look so nice straight and smooth done the job!! But it did took my hair off completely from black to red brown not satisfied at all + after it you can't wash your hair with product containing sulfate what is not good if you have sensitive flacky scalp other waise it washes the product out

This has to be hands down the BEST HAIR STRAIGHTENER ever! I have lost count how many times I have purchased this product. It must be over 10 times! As some one who has struggled with having coarse wavy curly hair and dreamt of having straight hair without using a heated hair straightener, this product has been a god send!! Apply it straight from the tub, leave it on for 20minutes, blow dry and then use a heated hair straightener, then wash and blow dry again and your done. This leaves your hair straight for 3 months, this is from guys perspective. And the best thing is there is enough in the tub for another couple of applications!!
