These greatly improve the comfort of your spikes. I can use them for hours in the tree. My calves from the upper pads begin to hurt before the arches of my feet do. Highly recommended product!

Absolutely LOVE these!!
I am in Electrical Lineman school, so we spend a lot of time working 40ft in the air on a pole. Everyone else complains about how much their feet hurt, and I am just fine! These plates makes it possible for my weight to be evenly distributed instead of being located in one area of my foot, allowing me to stay focused on the task at hand. It was a great buy and I definitely would recommend them to anyone who works in the Lineman/Tree Service fields.

Sloppy fit
If in the right position it does make your feet hurt less. For me one was in a good spot and the other wouldn't stop moving making it more uncomfortable than not having it at all.
