Good so far, will review further down the road if it gets bumpy.
43 year old engineer here. I tend to go through tablets pretty frequently, but haven't jumped on the apple train just yet. Saw this at Walmart for $139 and when I googled the product came across some great reviews. Searched on Amazon and found tablet with keyboard ($119) and case ($19). Just received it today and played with it a few hours so this review may be a bit premature, but I will update if it doesn't remain 5 stars (5 stars in my book is the product meets my expectations - not that it's the best tablet on the market place). Comes fully charged which is a plus. It is on the heavier side, but if all else is on par then that's a great trade off to me. Visually the screen is good, just not as sharp as other tablets I've owned...but still good. The glass or plastic feels a bit wierd (hmmm I don't know if it feels cheap or solid not sure if it need to be cleaned or I just need to get used to it). Keyboard is on the small side, but definately function which is a big plus; even has extra function keys (email, back, volume, brightness along with number keys) - but the mouse pad sucks...but I'm sure that's just me as I hate them on all keybards. Sound is good. I bought this to surf, netflix, xfinifty and play Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Crash Dive, Atlantic Fleet and other simulations. While I have loaded them I have not play extensively, but will over the holiday weekend and review if any aspect is negative. As for other aspects, gathering opinons from the internet reviews it appears this tablet has a lot of features (usb, mini, keyboard and extra keys, etc) at the expense of the whole performance side being good, not great. For the $$ I'm spending and the fact that I use most tablets 4-5 hours a day and never last more than a year I am okay with this.

A sleeper hit of a tablet
As an avid tech user, I will keep this short and sweet. This is a good tablet, with a decent set of specs, and a keyboard/stand with mouse pad and more ports on the side than I've seen on almost any tablet. You get an mini HDMI, USB, mini USB, charging and headphone jack. You can plug a mouse into this tablet and I've tested two (an HP and an Logitech) and turn this into basically a netbook. The size is large and the processor speed is good too. The touchscreen is responsive as is the mouse and keyboard, but take the keyboard off and flip it and its a great stand, or leave it off all together. Is it comparable to a Samsung or iPad, of course not, but will it do what you need it to do and run your apps for a really low price, yes. I think it makes a great everyday tablet and a great travel tablet especially for around $100.

Does exactly what I need it to do
First let me qualify myself as a reviewer: I'm currently a college student (I've been in college for several years now) attending a public Texas University. I already have a laptop, which works perfectly fine and I use for all my heavy duty work and gaming as it has great specs. Since it seems like most professors now at both universities and community colleges like to teach off of pdf's and power point slide shows, I thought it would be much more practical to use a tablet to take notes instead of writing notes by hand or using my laptop to take notes. This tablet is perfect for what I need it to do. I have classes for about 4 hours straight on the days I need to use this tablet, and on a full charge it lasts through all of those classes, being used to take notes, and still has about 60% battery left after I'm done with classes for the day. It does take a handful of hours to fully charge this tablet (even though it says it can take 11 hours, but it doesn't take that long), so I wouldn't recommend trying to use it for important note taking or video watching when the battery is below 10% because it doesn't seem to charge faster than the battery drains, at least when watching videos on it. The touch screen works fine; it isn't a top of the line touch screen that you could use for making intricate drawings with a stylus, but it works alright to do very basic drawings. Paired with a note-taking app, this tablet works perfectly for note taking, as I mentioned before. I'm new to the android os, as I've never truly owned a tablet before this one and I've always had an iPhone (but I prefer PC over Mac) but I got used to it fairly quickly. When browsing the web it can sometimes take a little bit of time for things to load, but I'm talking only like 10-20 seconds longer than you'd might expect. Anything that can be used through an app though works great. The built-in speaker isn't the best, but it works alright. Doesn't get too loud and the sound quality is just decent, nothing special. Video playback is great and playing high-def videos on here look surprisingly good. It has a mini hdmi port so you might want to get either an adapter or a cable with a mini to a regular hdmi. All in all this is definitely a great purchase for the price for sure. If you're looking for an affordable tablet that puts in work, then this is the tablet for you.

This model seems to have a touchscreen prone to shattering. Beware and do your research. :(
When it worked it was an amazing pad. I really enjoyed it. My cat sat on it and broke the touch screen. The display still looks great but only way to get the cursor to move is to plug in a mouse. Research showed me that many, many people must have similar problems. There are dozens of sites, including Amazon, offering replacement screens and the tools to help change the screens out. YouTube also has a number of videos with technicians showing how to do it. We ordered a replacement screen and spent close to three hours working on the transplant. It was hellish--perhaps easy only if you do the procedure regularly as a technician. We finally got it back together (at least some form of written instructions would have been a big help. Other people have voiced the same complaint) and the cracks in the screen are gone but it still won't respond to touch. It was such a frustrating experience that we're thinking of trashing it and buying a new one. A very disappointing experience, but when it was up and running it was a great pad.
