Pleasant Surprise
I have been pleasantly surprised by the number of additional Bible study aids that are contained within this special book. I strongly recommend this resource to all serious students of the Word.

Excellent study tool for low price
More convenient than Strong's concordance for finding definitions of Hebrew and Greek words, but can be confusing in comparison to Strong's when looking for scripture addresses. Correct definition of fornication (exclusively meaning prostitution, not sex between unmarried couples), unlike Zondervan concordance or new Strong's. Worth the low cost for that reason alone.

This is a wonderful Bible study resource
This is a wonderful Bible study resource! Search for your scripture, find the Hebrew or Greek word behind the English, and then find every use of that word in scripture. It's the way translators come up with accurate renderings of Biblical languages, and you and I can do the same thing with no knowledge of Hebrew or Greek. I wish more people knew about this one, or better yet that they printed a hybrid Young's/Strong's/Vine's. I keep all three on my shelf, and use them for slightly different purposes.

Not at all what I expected.
I bought this thinking that the Hebraic syntax words would all be listed by Hebrew and then what their meaning is but instead you must have some idea as to what English word the Hebrew might be and look that up. Also the text is so small that it is very hard to read either the Hebrew or Greek word. I thought about returning this but it was not a "free-return" and the cost would have been almost as much as I paid for the book since it was used.

GREAT concordance and this isn't a 1984 copy - it is 2008 print edition
I have a Strongest Strongs concordance, but as I was looking for an easy to use concordance for a family member, I started looking at Youngs after reading a review online about it through a biblical website. I am actually keeping this copy for myself - I find this so much easier to use than Strongs. This eliminates the step of having to look up the KJV word to find the STrongs number to then look that up for a definition. This doesn't show Strongs numbers, but instead you look up the KJV word and can see all uses of that word in the bible and which Hebrew or Greek word a particular verse was translated from. You can also look most Hebrew or Greek words up in the back to see other definitions with the Vines dictionaries. SO useful! Don't pay more from other sellers thinking you're getting a "newer version." Mine ordered with free shipping from Amazon is dated 2008, and from what I can find online, there isn't a newer edition out there.

Essential
A good concordance is essential to anyone who desires to study and understand the Bible. My favourite has always been Young's (the only other I would recommend is Strong's). My copy has a permanent place on my work table where I have access to it on a daily basis. Young's is exhaustive and user friendly. The Hebrew and Greek derivations are there for every word in the text. A must-have for the serious Bible-student. The edition that I have just purchased for a friend is a clean-cut, attractive format.

If you can read it I guess it is ok
The print in this is so, small even with a mag. glass I could not see it. I mean SMALL. If you cannot see it why have it. So, I gave mine away. Just a waste of money for me. Plus, this thing weighs so, much I could hardly pick it up. This book is BIG.

You can't go wrong with a Young's Concordance.
This is for a Christmas gift. It arrived quickly and is a nice quality. You can't go wrong with a Young's Concordance.

Print is too fine
The font is definitely too, too fine. As a result I am unable to make good use of the book. I dont think they ever consider persons who have visual incompetencies

A MONUMENTAL WORK
Robert Young died in 1888 and this book is in the public domain, so there are many publications of the same name. Not does it contain every word in the Bible but shows it each time it is used, in the relevant paragraph, with the paragraphs separated according to the original Hebrew & Greek word used, in biblical book/verse order. "The result of many years' labour". Not only is it useful, but I feel it is a slice of history.

Only ok. Definitions Are Not Exhaustive.
Young's Analytical Concordance is okay but it's not up to Strongs standard. The definitions are quite short, sometimes only one word. Strong always gives a definite definition with clarification.

My friend loved it
My friend (who lives in Britain) and I were chatting on skype and she mentioned that she had lent her Young's Concordance to someone and can't remember and I instantly went to Amazon.co.uk and bought her the book because I know how much this translations means to her. I personally have not used it, but to her it's clear reading for the modern reader and it makes the bible more interesting to read. Enjoy my friend.
