Great Samsung phone at a very reasonable price for the awesome features it comes with.
I love this phone already. I did have a huawei p30 lite but it kept pressing the screen above where I was actually pressing so I'd had enough and bought the Samsung A71 instead. It is definitely worth the price! Nice and responsive, great face recognition. Plays all the games I've tried so far with no issues. The battery lasts a good long while even when I do have battery draining apps running in the back ground.I love the amount of space to install apps, pics or vids! One thing that put me off Samsung phones years ago was the tiny amount of storage it had especially on budget ranges so Im impressed again and this is one of the main factors that brought me back along with the other features and the amazing camera.I love the wide angle cam and the macro camera they are something I'm not use to on a phone and the Macro really does take some nice close up shots of stuff. The phone does have dual sim slots but I have only 1 sim in at the moment so can't review that feature. Like others have said it does have a plastic back but it really doesn't make this phone feel cheap at all and most of the time I have a case on anyway as I'm notorious for dropping phones!Speaking of dropping I have dropped the phone about 5 times from chair height and so far it is in one piece still and no cracks but I do have a case😆UPDATE 2022: This beauty of a phone is still going! Also been dropped about 1000x in the 2 years but barely a scratch. There are a few tiny weeny scratches from not having a phone case with a front cover over and been stuck in jeans pocket all day but they are only visible when the screen is off and looking really close up! ♥️ This phone, it will be put in a display cabinet when it is finally put to rest 🤣

Amazing phone!
Bought for £350 and it's absolutely a bargain IMO. Had to buy a new phone as my old iPhone 7 has several issues. Wanted to get another iPhone but I just could not afford Apple's pricing at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I still love Apple products and would prefer iPhone over Samsung due to Apple's Eco system as a whole, bug free apps and overall simplicity.Although, If you are on a tight budget, highly advisable to get this absolute beast of a unit.P.S I think other people's issues are because they bought it from a third party reseller. Mine got ordered and dispatched from Samsung UK directly.Pros- reasonably price- good battery life- screen is massive, attractive display and very pleasing to touch the screen- Samsung A model phones repair cost is way cheaper than S models. Samsung S10+ screen repair cost £249 whereas A71 cost is at £109. Source: Samsung website.Cons-Comes with loads of bloatware which of course you can easily uninstall.-You need to spend time with performance optimization but 3 Youtube tutorials should do.-Samsung's version of iCloud is called Samsung Cloud WHICH IS GOING TO BE REPLACED BY MICROSOFT ONEDRIVE. Really?-iPhone's WhatsApp backup is in iCloud - YOU CANT MIGRATE THIS TO YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT. This is not Android's fault particularly but it's a feature that has been in the pipeline for a long time. There are Apps available online that claim this can be done but I highly doubt their credibility.

Ideal for Hungarian UK residents
My old HTC Desire kept running out of storage space so needed replacing. I don't use my phone watch films or use it as an extension to one of my arms, however, I do use it as a tool to keep in touch and to manage my household day-to-day running. The Samsung A71 is quite large, which makes viewing and reading much easier, although it's a bit bulky for my pocket. Even though the phone I ordered was described as a UK Version, it was set-up in Hungarian (Magyar), and I didn't help myself by pressing the wrong button on the first screen, so ended up having to guess what to do until I got to selecting English.I've managed to download all the apps I had on the old HTC, plus about 5 or 6 more. It does all the things I need it to do, although I must admit I don't necessarily like the way Samsung it does some things (my old HTC replaced a cheap and cheerful Samsung that kept on freezing for no apparent reason). I'm happy I got the A71 and hope it'll last me 4 or 5 years, when who knows what will be available for us mere mortals.

Great little phone but...
Great little phone, after a few days swapping from iPhone it is very easy to use. My only fault is that the 'Samsung Switch' which is meant to transfer everything from your iCloud to your new Android device only can take pictures from up to 30 days... I have 5 years worth of photos on my iPhone that I now can't transfer! Very sad.

As advertised, problem dealt with swiftly
Phone is as advertised - Samsung A71.VAT was charged on top of the advertised price which I didn't notice at checkout, so when I checked back I was surprised to find I'd paid £341 instead of advertised £284.When I first received the phone, I was a little disconcerted to find the instructions in Slovakian (!) and disappointed to find the wall-plug was USB-A, while the charging cable was USB-C (so they did not fit together). However - the instructions weren't very necessary (they were only about how to insert your SIM, which is pretty obvious and came with diagrams anyway), and when I contacted the seller I received a replacement wall-plug very quickly. So a few minor issues which you wouldn't encounter if you bought the phone from a shop - but not noticing the VAT on top was my oversight, and the other issues were resolved very quickly by the seller, so a high rating from me.

Not that good.
Replacement phone to work with new hearing aids & this fits the bill. The three stars are for the followingBattery - for a new phone battery, it's not that good as needs daily charging.Junk - has lots of unwanted apps, with no way to remove.
