I bought this for a prop and then have let my kids use it. It took 3 hours to put together, but it was worth it!

Almost did not purchase this due to some of the reveiws. Need an engineering deg/pedals to close to the ground/chain slips off all the time. Actually if you have patience & an adequate IQ--this product works very well. But it does take some time to put together & the ability of the person doing so to take their time & use their brains. Great product in my opinion. Hint w/ others chain & peddle issues---take time to tension chain properly & make sure to put holes for peddle arm on top & not lowest possible position.

seems sturdy but one of the plastic cap nuts broke during assembly(we did use the tool to line it up) they did give you one extra but they were very hard to get on so we left the silver part exposed.

I purchased this as a gift for my grandson’s third birthday. I was worried that it would be too small. However, it is the perfect size. My son assembled it and said it was a bit challenging, not something I could have done. My grandson was thrilled with it!

Tough plastic! All parts were there! Instructions for the most part were great except for the center caps. Make sure both black go on front and back wheels and silver on the pedals! But anyway it took a couple of hours to assemble but worth it! It does look sharp and I know my grandson will love it! Thank you!!

Assembly: Assembly was not overly easy, but I am a lifelong bicycle mechanic. I would be cautious regarding assembly if you are typically challenged with mechanical tasks.Durability: The tractor itself seems sturdy for our 3 yr old. Maybe up to 5 or 6, but the durability of the roto-molded steering parts and the wheels themselves tell me this will not last forever.Riding it: The crank arms are very short which can make it difficult for our little dude to get moving from a stop, but once rolling he is able to keep it going.For the price, it’s a reasonable alternative to the “Power Wheels” tractor, which is exactly why I bought it. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

This is the second John Deere Pedal Tractor we have owned and our children absolutely love it!! It is sturdy, and takes a beating from 2 little boys! The stickers eventually peel away and fall off when left out in the sun, but it really doesn't take away from how wonderful this ride on toy is. The only reason I had to buy a new one was because our first one floated away during a flood. I will keep this long after my boys are done with it in hopes for grand children because I know it will last that long. Love it!
