This is truly worth $80. I got the 5.5 wood stock model, and it is way nicer then I was expecting. It has some flaws but for the price it is just fine.Pros-Wood stock is real wood-Receiver, barrel, cocking arm, trigger, trigger guard are all metal-Rear sight is adjustable-Shrouded front sight-Rubber but pad-Anti "bear trap" cocking arm can not be released by a trigger pull-Has a 11mm dove tail rail. (I prefer 20mm picatinny rail)Cons-Trigger is rough folded metal-Cocking arm doesn't align under barrel-Front sight shroud is bent-No safety (safety is fired/finger off the trigger)-Low power (could be a pro)All in all I haven't fired more than 3 shots yet. It has a lighter action, and is shorter than my Beeman break barrel. Gonna give a update after 500 rounds down the barrel.

Low cost. Very accurate. Easy to work on. Add a scope to see just how accurate, or a red dot for plinking. Packs enough punch for Cotten tails, rats and such, yet not so powerful to eat up your back stops like the 1000 fps air guns do. Mine is in .22. The .177 may only be strong enough for rats. Some of these have a leather seal, some have a synthetic seal. Either way I prefer 100% silicone for chamber lube. The manual says 20 weight motor oil, but you will diesel then. Out of the two I bought, one came in perfect condition and shoots about right on the advertised velocity with most mid weight pellets. The other came with a few dings, but easily hit 700 fps +. Scoped at 10 meters both shoot under 1/4" 5 shot groups with a number of different pellets. Like most air guns, there are also a number of pellets that won't group under an inch. Try several different pellets before thinking yours won't shoot well. Mine does have anti-beartrap. I actually prefer springers without this feature. Without anti-beartrap you can hold the cocking lever, squeeze the trigger and un-cock the gun. You will have to fire the gun with anti-beartrap. Never fire the gun without a pellet in it. This can damage the piston and seals. You may need to tighten up all the sctews and bolts. I lock tightened them while doing this to prevent future loosening. I use lock tight on my scope rings too. Cheap enough to not worry about a few dings when out hunting or plinking. Built well enough to work for a long long time. I use it more than my FWB.

Ok,first,please stop leaving reviews like you just bought a new car. These are pellet guns. This one claims 800fps box says 500. But, this gun is dead on at 30' and beyond and packs a very hard punch best cheap gun I've ever had. I'm going to get another one dropped a large crow at 25 yards.and their tuff to kill.
