This appears to be a clone of the similar model Schlage product and while I can't yet attest to its long term durability, it seems to be solidly built and works smoothly. Installation is easy, just make sure you have a hacksaw or grinder to cut down the activation lever (the part is clearly identified) to the proper length for your door. I also highly recommend using a door lock jig (I used the Ryobi one and it was great) if your door isn't already cut out for a lock like this. One minor drawback- the emergency key that lets you open the lock from outside is a special T shaped piece of metal and while one comes with the kit, if you want another one, they cost about $7 each which is ridiculous for a 15 cent piece of brass. Overall though, this is an excellent lock and I would absolutely order it again if I was in need of a bathroom door lock.

i thought when i bought it it said came with an emergency key did not see one so i bought one separately cost me around $ 20 with shippingwhen i was installing it all the parts were in a box fitted in side another box I pulled that box out to dump parts out and there was the key hidden under inside box why wasn't it with all the other parts deception to make you by another key the lock itself seems pretty good so far not happy i had to spend additional money for a key

The only issue we have is there is a small scrape line in the green area. Other than that, it is very easily visible. Easy to install

Nice easy mechanism. Solid locking. Good visual indicator. Now, how do I teach the general public to read and understand what is clearly obvious to anyone with half a brain.Amazing how many people go to the door, see the signs on the door, see the red indicator that clearly says "IN USE" and still repeatedly grab the handle and try to force the door open. Do they think it doesn't mean them? "No, that stuff if for someone else."

We have a bathroom which is a passthrough to other areas and it is very handy to have this on the door. Great quality and solid for repetitive use. Have had it installed nearly a year now. Would definitely buy again if I needed a door lock that needs to indicate locking status.

This is a heavy duty lock. I studies the various locks on line before I bought this one. I chose it because even it was a bit more costly because it had good reviews. Other brands did not have the letters come up properly. This one does. I don't think we will have the problems that people had with other brands of locks.

Now our clients can see whether rest room is in used. Standard fit but had to chisel some wood both the door and jam for fit.

The product was very well made. The door jam side had extra protection by having the bolt go into a cup recessed into the frame. The strike plate was not just a plate with a hole in it, but a 360 degree enclosure.
