High Quality, Excellent Pricing - Extremely Comfortable and Effective
An excellent product, designed by someone who knows what they are doing. First, these are very comfortable, the ear loops are a very soft sheath over the very good elastic bands - which hold just right, keeping the mask tight and in place without irritation to the face or ears. The mask has a metal band that runs the width of the mask, pliable and easy to mold to your nose and cheeks, I like that it is in between the top seam of the mask and not exposed and that it runs all the way across instead of just being a nose clip. I was able to mold the mask to my nose and contours of face and cheeks which allowed me to wear my glasses without them fogging up.The box states for 'single use', depending on the environment and use I would think they could be used more than that. No smell to them, dust free, material is light weight, not to thin, not to thick..almost like a good quality tissue and not at all like "toilet paper" as some have said. The box I received did not look like the picture shown, but I am not wearing the box so that is not an issue for me. Box also said made in Mexico assembled from U.S. parts. I suspect the assembly origin may change over time but the use of materials at least has not.I plane on always have this with me when I fly, or visit close in shopping areas during the flu season. I spent time in Japan where you see this all the time on people as when someone is sick it is required of them not to spread the germs around, wish it was that way here, sadly not.Highly recommended for use to protect you from inhaling dust and allergens as well as saliva droplets from others around you and as necessary you from them.

Glued pleats come apart just by putting these on. Very cheaply manufactured. Returning these masks.
Both sides of these masks are pleated and then glued, like all the masks in this category. This is fine, but the glued pleats come apart extremely easily on only the right side of the masks. I have tried 7 so far and all of them do this. Basically, the mask is not keeping me from breathing in the germs from both of my sons' sickness because the right side of the masks is completely open (not against my face). The left side is fine and holds together even if I try to pull at the glued pleats.I rarely write reviews, but I had to let others know about this. I will be returning these and trying a different brand.

Ideal for Those of Us with Vulnerable Immune Systems
The media could not be loaded. I've been testing out various surgical masks available on Amazon, and these are the best and best deal I've found so far. They are super easy to put on (no ties around back or straps over the head), fit nicely, and are pretty cheap by the box.I use these when I'm around people with colds just because I have an autoimmune disease. I don't think you need to have that kind of problem, though, to use a mask like this. It's just plain old common sense to separate yourself from the germs around you, and vice versa. As for the construction quality, these are sturdy and can be worn all day. The ear loops will pull off if you really tug them, as I show in my video, but you really have to tear at them to get them loose. That's unlikely to happen.Of course, this is not the kind of protection you would need when encountering someone with Ebola. But for colds and the flu, I haven't gotten sick once from encountering sick folks in my family and community when wearing one of these masks..................This product was NOT given to me as part of any promotion. I bought it after doing some comparison shopping and this review is entirely the result of my own opinions and use of the product.

Comfortable, generally used in medical apps
This mask is actually a “procedural mask” and is designed very nicely to fit all face structures, I have a large head and pronounced jawline and I need a larger style mask, this one is nice 👍🏻Now, when it comes to “thickness”, this particular facial mask is designed to be light and much thinner than most other cheaper mass produced masks, this would be used by physicians and medical or dental professionals!! This mask is not designed necessarily for long periods of arduous hard work where sweat and heavier breathing is required as these will easily sweat through and begin to shred when wetted! If you can use for general coverage this mask will be ideal and is very comfortable, especially with the “so soft” ear loop strands which are nicely soft! But, know that this mask, when worn correctly, will snug-fit onto your face and can be slightly difficult to breathe easier than most other mask brands?!

Legit
I work in healthcare and I like these masks. They're the ones my hospital system uses for all of the workers. When cases started going up and my husband needed to start wearing masks at work, these are the ones I recommended to him to help keep his face cool. They're more lightweight and breathable than a cloth mask. I was surprised to see the bad reviews from people who didn't seem to understand what they were getting, but I can confirm they are indeed a legitimate Halyard product and exactly like what I use at work that's provided by my hospital system.

Comfortable-ish general purpose masks
I've been buying these for the past few months to wear at work to help ward off dust and mold allergies. The first few orders, I received KC-branded boxes. This time around, I received a Halyard-branded box. The contents were exactly the same, as both box brands had Halyard printed on the actual masks. The masks themselves are about as comfortable as one could expect. I've gotten used to wearing them 8+ hours a day, and most of the time I'll only need one. The adjustable metal band at the top shapes easily and fits neatly under my glasses (which do occasionally fog up). The masks will occasionally tear at the crimped edges, leaving a side gap. Sweat and humidity make them next to useless, but that's to be expected: it's just paper. A sudden sneeze will leave you reaching for a new mask (and a tissue). Sometimes they have a slight chemical odor, sometimes not. They do help in keeping larger particulates from being directly inhaled. I don't think I'd trust them for anything more than that.
