Incredibly bright. Small learning curve.
Okay, I seriously LOVE this flashlight, and consider it one of the best purchases I have made in a while.I don’t consider myself a very prepared EDC (EveryDay Carry) individual, but I wanted a keychain that would have all of the basic tools you might need in the spur of the moment in a concise, somewhat-stylish collection. I boiled this down to a pair of bottle-opener and multi-tool keys (the multi-tool includes a bottle opener, but it’s pretty short so it doesn’t have the best leverage, and I preferred one that I already had) and a knife and flashlight on a pull-away release. The Aurora A1 RovyVon flashlight was the last piece of this puzzle, but an AMAZING addition! On to the specifics of the flashlight: this light is barely larger than a AA battery and even lighter in weight. There are four brightness settings: low, medium, bright, and SUPER-bright. The super-bright is honestly blinding in the dark, so it would make a really great addition to an emergency mace or other self-defense type keychain.I can’t be too specific about the battery life, other than to say it is amazing. I bought this light 2-3 months ago, charged it up to full that day, and I have not recharged it since. I don’t use it on a daily basis, but at least a couple of times a week, as well as a five day camping trip last month. My primary flashlight crapped out the first night, so I used my tiny RovyVon every night after which turned out to be brighter and more convenient since it was hooked on my belt-loop.The ONLY con to this little flashlight is that it took me a few days to figure out the button patterns for the different settings. There is only one button, so I had to make a point to stop and learn how it works before I needed it in a real scenario. To summarize:1-press hold: temporary on. Turns off as soon as you release the button.2-press: ON at the most recent brightness setting. Press the button once when on to cycle through the 4 brightness settings. Whichever setting is left on for 3+ minutes (give or take a minute) will become the new default brightness when your next turn it on.Hold for 1.5ish seconds to turn OFF.3-press: Strobe light on. Press once to turn off.

Nice and bright
Nice and solid light. Forget to keep it charged and it holds a charge anyway for months. Nice and bright for its size.

Great little keychain light - worth the money
I really like this light. The size is great but the features are fantastic. The light is nice because it doesn't come on accidentally in the pocket, is rechargeable, is a single unit, and it's easy to control (once you read the short explanation). The low power modes last a loooong time.I've tried few other keychain lights in the past but the heads would come loose in my pocket and I would lose parts - the head with the bulb, button batteries. On at least three occasions I went to use a keychain light only to discover I was carrying an empty tube in my pocket - no bulb, lense, or battery. My long time benchmark is the Maglight solo and this light crushes that one. Nothing to come apart, easy to use, a great deal of workable light. High scores across the board.I'm glad I spent the money to finally get a keychain light that does what I want.

Excellent little keychain light!
UPDATED 11/19/22: I"ve owned the RovyVon Aurora A1 for 2 years now and I keep it on my keychain in my front pocket. I really like the light and it continues to work year after year. The only thing I would like RovyVon to change is to make this light have wireless charging like the O-Light. That may be too hard with this small of a light, but they need to change from the silicone charging cover because that thing feel off a year ago. It continues to work fine but obviously isn't waterproof or water resistant anymore. That is the only flaw I see in this light. It's super bright and is extremely small. The silver end where the light comes out does get hot after a couple of minutes of continued use. With the silicone cover falling off and with the light getting hot I would recommend this pocket flashlight. I think so highly of this light that I"ve purchased 3 other A1's as gifts for friends and family. If RovyVon can change the charging cover this would be the perfect everyday carry/EDC light! PS. The first 2 pictures was when it was new. The Roush keychain is the light after 2 years.

Pretty good EDC flashlight
Light weight. Small. Pretty bright. Seems to have pretty good battery life, though I typically use it only in short bursts. Can’t speak to longevity as I’ve only had it a few weeks. Cons: the switch interface isn’t the most intuitive, so I do find myself searching for the right brightness level.Hold the button for instant-on, max brightness.Double click to turn on to last set brightness. Single clicks to scroll through levels. Hold button to turn off.

Really sturdy with a long lasting battery
There models of the Rovyvon Aurora up to model 8. I have the A1. Yet after all this time it still works very well. Just like it. Don't go for othedvertie models that may have the shape and form of the A1 as it most certainly does not last long and never beat the A models.
