Women's Joan of Arctic Wedge II Boot - Light Rain - Waterproof - Quarry - Size

I have two pairs of the Joan of Arc, last years and this years and they are both out of this world comfy! This particular style has a hidden wedge (very cool) and it doesn't take away from comfort. I have worn these all day in snow storms, rain, and hiking with zero pain and looking very stylish :) Looks super cute with leggings. For reference I have worn them throughout New Zealand, Europe and in my home town of Western New York in temperatures below 20 degrees with and without socks. I never take them off and rarely pack any other shoe when going on casual vacations. I have them in grey and black. Highly recommend. I typically take a 9 in other brands but I take an 8 in Sorel.I hope this helps!

One foot was significantly smaller than the other (I’ve never experienced this with any other shoes or boots. The boots look weirdly discolored at the toes. Even though I was trying to like them enough to keep them, The final straw was the horrendous odor coming from the boot - it smelled like dog feces. If you’re going to spend this much on boots, do it in a brick and mortar store where you know you’re getting the real thing, not a counterfeit.

So happy with this purchase! I have been wanting these shoes forever and I finally got a price drop e-mail and pulled the trigger. I am a typical size 7 and the 7 fit perfect and there is a touch of room for a heavier sock if I like. I wore them all day to work and they are very comfortable. The tread is very non-slip and the top of the shoes didn’t cut in on my ankle anywhere. So pleased!

I wish sorel hadn’t change the style of their Joan Of Arctic Wedge booties. They don’t seem as well made as before. I ordered a pair in black and there were many defects in the craftsmanship of the bootie, the stitching was coming apart, the hardware that the shoestrings pass through were cheap looking and one had divots in it. I LOVE my wedge booties from two years ago but I won’t be buying these anymore in the future....unless they go back to the old style...

Pretty sure this is a fake. It fits weird, like my arch doesn’t line up at all. The stitching is off as well. I purchased the size 7 and picked up the 7.5 from Nordstrom, what a change. These just look different! Really disappointed, and wish I could get my money back.

Initial in boxing:-First, I'm not sure how waterproof their "waterproof materials" are as they seem to have bled all over the packaging...would they do this to my clothes too?-Second, thing I noticed straight away, right out of the box, they came in Horrible almost used/returned condition. And I don't mean factory weathering/distressing. Also, the metal plating on the lace loops had multiple scratches. These are "user error" type scratches. As they are only in the areas typical to accidental scraping to things or each other. Either way the leather, as soft as it is, is easily roughed up.-Third, they came with some kind of nail polish on them and a few small oil spots on the leather. Not sure what from but these might have been a return.After putting on, super comfy. Could walk all day in them...EXCEPT inside they've sewn the tong to the side of the shoe at the same spot the metal lace loops are also sewn in leaving a large lump in the side of the shoe that rubs on your ankle. With socks and having these on all day you'll definitely be complaining and annoyed by notably causing some serious irritation. This was only on one shoe and only on the inner side of the right shoe so it may very well be an isolated manufacturing flaw only to this pair but a small overlooked detail that could cause a person like me to wear these once and regret it ..to then forever sit in graveyard of disliked and uncomfortable shoes you'll find in the back of my closet.I thought these fit a comfortable yet loose size ten. But I'm not sure if I'd consider it a whole half size. They are very comfortable it seems regardless of the minor irritant and serious issue of their outer condition.If these weren't already a return ...they are now!

Gorgeous. Love these. Sorel never disappoints. Worth every penny. Very comfortable. I have a wide foot and had no problems with the fit. True to size.

This is my favorite style of Sorrel boot. I have several pair, different colors. I'm constantly getting compliments on these boots. I struggle in heals, I look and feel uncomfortable in them. These wedges feel fantastic on my feet. They're expensive, but worth the money. They do stretch some after wearing but I wear an insert due to flat feet. I normally wear a size 8. I buy a size 8 and they're snug for about a month with the insert, then they stretch a little and fit perfectly.

Ordered my usual size but a little tight , however after advice from seller (great customer care) i ordered half size up and it fits perfectly ! First wear i ve walked s couple of miles and they were as comfortable at the end of the day as at the start, look great on , very happy customer love my new boots!

I love these boots and they are very comfortable. They laces do come a bit loose though so might be worth changing them
