Part of the classic Fudge series from Judy Blume, bestselling author of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing ! Peter Hatcher canโt catch a break. His little brother, Fudgeโthe five-year-old human hurricaneโhas big plans to marry Peterโs sworn enemy, Sheila Tubman. That alone would be enough to ruin Peterโs summer, but now his parents have decided to rent a summer home next door to Sheila the Cootie Queenโs house. Peter will be trapped with Fudge and Sheila for three whole weeks! โAs a kid, Judy Blume was my favorite author, and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing was my favorite book.โโJeff Kinney, author of the bestselling Wimpy Kid series Love Fudge, Peter, and Sheila? Read all the books featuring your favorite characters: Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great Superfudge Double Fudge Review: Fudge-a-mania is Laugh-a-mania! - Are you looking for a fantastic book?! If so, I would recommend โFudge-a-maniaโ from the Judy Blume series about Peter and Fudge Hatcher, two brothers who live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. I really recommend this book for people who love humor and can relate to someone being really annoying (and sometimes mean). At the beginning of this amazing book, Peter Hatcher finds out that he has to go to Maine for three weeks with his mom, dad, little brother (Fudge), baby sister (Tootsie), and his grandmother. Additionally included on this trip are the family pets: Fudgeโs bird (Uncle Feather), and Peterโs dog (Turtle). Also going to Maine are his neighbors, the Tubmans, and that includes Sheila Tubman, his life-long enemy. (Remember how I said I would recommend this book if you can relate to someone being really annoying?) Spending his vacation with Sheila Tubman will be even harder than he had expected when he finds out that he has to share a house with her. At least he can invite his friend, Jimmy Fargo, to help him survive. Their summer adventures include Peter swallowing a fly, getting a crush on a girl, Sheila babysitting Fudge, Uncle Feather going missing, and even a wedding! One reason I really like this book is that I can relate to Peter. I have someone in my life who is extremely annoying, and I also have experienced family craziness. Another reason I like the book is because itโs packed with a lot of adventures and humor. Once again I really recommend this funny and entertaining book. Review: Great book - Grandson loved book

My son loves it
We got this because we have all of Judy Blume's other Fudge books, starting with Tales of a Fourth-Grade Nothing. At the time we read the other books, I was looking for books that my son would want to read, and he loved these. They made him laugh (his number one priority) and kept him reading (my number one priority). We're still looking for books he wants to read, but this series started him reading and now he enjoys it.

Laugh out loud funny!
Fudge-A-Mania was my favorite book ever and first Judy Blume book! Itโs a comedy about Peter and his CRAZY little brother, Fudge. In this book, Fudge is marrying Sheila Tubman, Peterโs sworn enemy. Sheila is twelve and Fudge is five!!! Peter also has to spend three weeks in Maine with Sheila, Fudge and their families!!! At least he can bring his best friend, Jimmy Fargo too survive Sheila. You will find yourself laughing out loud now and then. I would recommend this to everyone! This was a amazing book!

Love this book!!
Absolutely love this book. My husband wanted this book to read to our 3 boys at night. He read it when he was a kid. I would definitely recommend this book for your kids. 9 and up definitely. Some spoilers about Santa, and mentions the birds and bees but does not go into any details. My husband read it when he was in 3rd grade. Still relevant in today's world.
