I bought this with that in mind for my daughter but it’s not as effective as I would like. Best one I’ve found is the Elvive Clay one for greasy roots

I just wanted to let ppl here know that this is clarifying shampoo, to remove product build up/ grease, my experience with this product has been great as I bought it from boots (a shop I trust and can see the quality whilst buying it). I live in a very hard water area so washing my hair makes my hair look and feel greasy even if it is clean, I use this product once a week to help with the hard water (how ever I also still use a water filter in my shower head for extra effect) but I wash my hair with my normal shampoo + conditioner for the rest of the week.  Using this routine with a shower filter and weekly clarifying shampoo/ acidic shampoo (as of the Apple vinegar) has really helped me achieve shiny clean looking hair! Products like this don’t usually work for greasy hair even if they claim too, as these are cheap products, I used to use the tea tree shampoo + conditioner and that helped with greasy hair when I needed it!

I hope this information is useful to anyone who needs it! (FYI) I would reccomend looking up the hardness of your water in your area to see if there could be other factors to greasy hair.
