Tise Terracotta Tawa with Wooden Handle, (9 Inches, Red)

It’s been 03 months now that I have been using this tawa. It’s a great product. The taste of the roti cooked on it is amazing!!! Go for it without giving a second thought!!!!

Nice quality

Not good quality the metal hooks which hold the mud plate at it's place are loose and are made of very cheap metal the handle is not stable at one place to it moves backward and forward and the most annoying thing is it is not made of wood it is made of plastic

The photos in the product page show a wodden handle but I received one with a plastic handle. The handle was also not properly attached and is very flimsy. The plastic is also of a very cheap quality and not suitable for cooking applications.

After some thought I decided to switch to Terracotta earthenware for cooking, including the terracotta tawa. We are very happy with it as the chapatis cook evenly on this earthen surface and result in beautifully puffed up rotis. My main concern is the possibility of breakage in case of careless handling. No doubt the manufaturer has taken this into account and provided a metal framework. Time will tell. If one is extra careful in handling this item, I am sure it will last a very long time.
