Great concept, cheap execution
The tips are hilarious and motivating. However, the paper quality is not meant for brush pens, which is a listed art supply on page 9. It’s not possible to do the brush alphabet exercises without color bleeding through the pages. Also since this is paperback, the binding makes it difficult to use the inner left page.

Laughed & Learned!
Absolutely the funniest how-to book ever! Lots of great information and encouragement for the reader. So happy I ordered this, it’s a must have!

Not thick paper
You get good variety but the paper is normal so when you have to much ink it bleeds through making the next page useless

Fun, and it actually teaches brush lettering
With this workbook you will likely be able to master brush lettering while having a laugh.

Awesome book but poor quality paper
I LOVE the sarcasm, dry humor aspect to this book. It’s straight to the point and fairly helpful. The only downfall to this book is the quality and texture of the pages. Obviously you pay for what you get so if you’re a beginner like me, I’d recommend using cheap markers/pens so you don’t destroy nice brush pens. If you can, I’d use crayola markers and/or pencils!

Needs some very basic editing; fraught with typos and other errors
I just received this book about 30 minutes ago and on the first page I flipped to randomly (page 7) I immediately spotted the glaring error that led me to proofreading the book before diving in. That is, a missing "e" on the word "downstroke" (top right corner of page - unmissable as it's an oversized font size.I just spent 20 minutes on the first 8 pages to see how bad the editing is. And, the verdict is, that while the book presents the decent information, I find it highly ironic that in a book about lettering and the presentation of words that the writers can't seem to notice spelling errors, missing letters (typos), poor punctuation, poor spacing, and poor grammar overall. Too, it's a bit forced on the use of curse words and thus it reads somewhat unnaturally. (I am not offended by the words, however.)Look, I don't expect this to be the Iliad; however, I do expect the book to be even remotely edited. I'd be more than happy to do so for a few quid.As it stands, I'll leave it at 3-stars, for the content and worksheets only.

YESSSS
A lot of people finding the language disgusting, but I honestly find it so humouring! The fact that if I mess up the motivating quotes to keep going are great, aha! Don’t buy if you’re a snowflake!

Naughty but Nice
This book is great for practicing calligraphy. The book is full of swear words though, so not for children. From the title, I expected a bit of crass language but it was a bit too much. I will probably never need to write the words that the book teaches you to write. The pages are quite thin, so if you use a pen that puts a lot of ink on the page, it will go through to the other side. The styles of writing that it teaches are lovely though and great for starting out.

Funny and perfect!!
Purchased this to keep me entertained during lockdown, the way this book is written is hilarious. Really easy to use and my pens didn't leak through to the other side of the paper which is great! I've loved learning how to beautifully write rude works and insults 🤣
