I love at the end when a kid’s like, “ Are you a smurf?” And then Nate’s like,“Why does he think I’m a smurf?” And then a girl is like, “Ooh! Are you a smurf like me??” And then Nate’s like, “Why, yes I am!” And then Francis is like, “Quick costume change.” I laughed for a whole 3 minutes!!! I actually love love LOVE your books, Lincoln Peirce! And along with your Max and The Midknights!

We discovered Big Nate from another neighborhood boy & my boys LOVE, LOVE these books! I cannot lie, I LOVE them too! They are SO SUPER funny to the boys & to the adults (maybe not always in the same way). This one is actually just the comic strip from certain parts of the year, so not really a 'book' so much as just 'segments' of the comic strip from the paper. BUT, it still sort of follows a story 'arch' and it is still REALLY funny! My 5 yr old will 'read' it (mostly looking at the pictures & I then read it to him) & he thinks its funny. My 8 yr old reads it to himself & loves them. So, good for many ages. But reading level is at least 3rd grade level, I would say (for independent reading).

This book is definitely the best one in the series. As usual the illustrations are great and the jokes shine. This book is strongly recommended for any age!!😀

Best book series ever! I really enjoyed reading this book I like the good humor of this book that it provides. This is the second best in the book series the best one is dibs on this chair so you could go check that book out this is good good good good author the author is amazing

I liked how funny it was and how Nate has a strange obsession with writing love poetry about Cheez DoodlesI recommend this book for kids and adults and tweets and pre-teens and... Ohhhh... Et cetera who love humorous comic books! I gave it four star ratting because I like the Rick Riordan books better because they are a little more humorous and adventurous but Lincoln pierce is also a good author (and illustration) and yeah... Byeeee😅

I bought this for my son's kindle fire. I was worried it would be all text and not as fun to read as the paper back books. I was wrong, this kindle version was not only full of pictures, but the pictures were in full color. He loves Big Nate and this book did not disappoint. As usual, my 9 year old son refused to put the book down until he'd read the entire thing.
