Expensive, but does a great job!
Very easy to install but as other reviews have claimed, make sure you use copious amounts of quality thread tape. The manufacturer specifies no dope can be used, only tape. I thought I used enough the first time (about 6 or 7 layers) but it leaked. I went nutty and wrapped it almost 20 times and haven't had an issue since. This pump is extremely quiet. It creates even less noise than my AC or heat. I mounted mine to a piece of 1x4 cca and used rubber furniture pucks also to dampen any vibration noise. In retrospect, I probably didn't need any of that. The pump I chose only puts out a consistent 38 psi. My main line was putting out anywhere between 40 and 45 psi. You definitely need to install a regulator. I set mine at a consistent 72 psi and everything works well now.

Excellent Product
I am using this as a booster pump for water coming into the house. Incoming pressure is about 35 psig. The pump raises the pressure to about 70 psig.Installed the pump in the basement. It has been working flawlessly since installed. It cuts on automatically based on pressure. Instructions / information provided with the pump were excellent.

Works Great
I installed this to replace a broken booster pump to increase water pressure between the city water supply and my townhouse. I had a pressure control valve installed between the pump and the house to make sure the pressure isn't raised too high. The old pump did not have this set up and it would take the skin off the top of your head in the shower. The new pump works great. I researched several pumps before selecting this one. This pump has the best service record compared to the other pumps I researched.

Quiet
I wish I would have known how quiet this model was. I purchased it for my shop and it is underground, hidden from sight. I had to double-check to make sure it was working, and I found out that it makes hardly any nouse.I have a slightly larger model at my house, and when it turns on, everyone in the house knows it is on because it is loud. This model is the way to go for inside your house.

Working Like A Charm
Wish this had a little more boost, but still a worthy investment.

Crap
Hooked up to my sprinkling system. My PSI straight from the city is 32 and now my PSI is a consistent 65 PSI. I can adjust accordingly since I have a regulator. I placed it inside of a jumbo valve box. I cut the power wire so I could hook it straight to my breaker box. However, since I am in a freezing area, I will be unhooking it and storing it inside so it doesn't freeze over the winter. Easy hookup and un-hookup.FOLLOW UP: After 3 years my first one went out. No big deal. I figured it had been run pretty hard. I replaced it with the same one and it barely lasted 4 months. I have 25 PSI consistent now but that should not be a problem. The unit sounds like it is trying to Prime itself to turn on but never does. I would expect a premium brand pricing to last quite a bit longer.Update...tried to contact service for warranty. No response. Will not buy again. I bought another system at half the price and it works great and is actually quieter.

Worked great
I used this as a booster pump to take very low city water pressure up to 70psi. I installed a pressure regulator before the pump to make the pump get 30psi going in to pump intake. Which made my output pressure out about 70 which was perfect for residential home.
