Lubricated S-93 Shaft and S-77 Sheath for SR, TX, L, S, R, & CC Series Motors, 39” Long

I had to replace this on my foredom recently because I burned up my old one accidentally with misuse. I was skeptical that I was going to be able to take the machine apart and put this new piece on, but it actually didn’t even require that and instructions were clear, easy to understand for a novice And installation was fast. Don’t forget to lube it!

These are the correct shaft and sheath parts although they come pre-lubed from Foredom but not from this seller. I always add a nice bead of grease regardless, so it's not a big deal to me. If you do purchase this product...****** make certain that you grease the shaft before putting it inside the sheath and attaching the motor connector *****.

Works great just like the original.

The listing shows that the shaft is pre-lubricated, but there is very little, if any, visible or tactile evidence of lubrication. When questioned about it, seller stated that they come directly from Foredom and the lubrication IS on the shaft - “you can smell it”. Overall very happy with this.

works probably better than the first one that came with my machine

ordered two. both were tight, rough and bound up. one got so hot running that the plastic jacket melted. Not enough savings here just go order the real item.
