One of the best values in automatic watches.
I was looking for good automatic watch to start my collection. I fell in love with this watch at first sight. The OD green dial and band lend to a military look. The dial has large numbers but small hash marks denoting subsecond ticks. The crystal is super hard sapphire. I cannot stand a scratched up dial, so this was a great selling point. It offers a three fold hardness over mineral crystal. Just don't slam it down on diamonds, it'll shatter. The movement is the real steal. The ETA movement is robust and accurate. The rotar winding is bidirectional, so it winds the mainspring with both directions of swing. If you want to see the movement, just look through the sapphire back window and watch the escapement oscillate. The watch wears well. It is lightweight yet robust. If you are looking for a good all around automatic watch, this is the one to buy. The seller also has the lowest price I have seen for this model. Would highly recommend.

This watch is very nice, however I did not get exactly what is pictured here. The wording on the back of the watch is not the same as in the picture, the booklet that came with it does not exactly match the product. I'm wary but my husband liked it.

Beautiful and functional.....
I have now had this Hamilton for 6 months and it is an excellent timekeeper. It is great looking as is, but I dressed it up with an alligator band and achieved the look I sought. Mine came with the H-10 movement which has longer reserve and seems fine even though I prefer the ETA movement. Overall a fine watch, very understated, yet it is all I require. I would not say it is as water-resistant as Hamilton states, just don't jump in water or bathe with it----that's for your dive watches. Personally, I believe Hamilton is the hidden jewel in the watch world. Extreme value, ruggedness, and quality unmatched in the $500 range. Can't go wrong with this one!

Not the watch shown
The watch is not a Hamilton H70595963. Listed and pictured as Hamilton model H70595963 with H10 movement, 80 hour reserve etc - the watch face looks like the listed model but the case is clearly marked as H703050 with ACB444902 movement. A mix up? A fake? The box and tag attached to watch both say H70595963 but it is clearly not. Your call.

I gave thiswatch as a gift to my son
I gave this watch as a gift to my son. He was in the Army and still in the reserves. He loves this watch. Hamilton provides high quality at an affordable price. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a nice time piece at a affordable price.

One of my most favorite watches. I love the old-school feel of it and how it's a replica of the WW2 model. It goes well with a lot of weekend or casual outfits and is pretty timeless in my opinion. It's kind of a weekend warrior watch for me.

Overpriced
Expensive when you can get a Casio for 100 buck

A Swiss Classic for silly money.
This is a superb entry level Swiss automatic watch. The quality is outstanding. It's hard to believe that you can purchase a watch with an ETA movement and a sapphire crystal at this price. The strap is very nice, canvas with a leather lining in keeping with the military theme and a Hamilton branded clasp. The polished bezel sets off the brushed stainless steel case perfectly. The clear sapphire case back is a nice touch, what is the point of an automatic movement if you can't see it in action? An understated classic time piece.
