Universal Bayonet to 37mm Thread Adapter for Moment Lenses and DREAMGRIP, Other rigs with Standard 37mm Lens Thread

it doesn't hold the lens in place, it just wobbles loose

The Anamorphic lens doesn’t match on the 37mm adapter when used an case included the 37mm lens thread. When used an external filte clip 37mm, it works only with modified the Moment 37mm adapter lens. 1) remove the rubber coating and drill 2 hols and tapping the 2 Holes M3 thread. This is needed because the adapter doesn’t come with an key. When the owner avoid drilling holes than the Moment center connector will be fast damaged. Conclusion, the adapter works only on external clips, using external clips isn’t the same results as using Moment case. The Anamorphic wide angle is reduced by the distance of the lens gives which give slightly vignetting and most zoom in. Overall as mentioned usable with modifications and interested when no Moment case is around. As the adapter doesn’t match my 37mm iPhone case, perhaps it matches Dreamgrip or Beastgrip camera cases because they sells it, probably are there more possibilities to setup the adapter on the named camera rigs.

Although it fits on a 37mm mount of beastcage, 1) it does not lock and 2) manifests vigneting. Not being hopeful, I am expecting that it will be the same when used with beastgrip pro. In case I am proven wrong, i’ll update my review then. I would suggest screw holes (same in 37mm to 17mm adapter) to help out with unmounting the adapter. Despite these, i am giving this 3 stars for the quality material and make.

This is not a universal bayonet adaptor and certainly does not work with any of the moment lenses. Its loose. Such products should not be able to be marketed on Amazon.

This product was long overdue in the Mobile photography world. Bring able to use almost any lens on the dreamgrip is a God send highly recommended

This was exactly what I needed. Great little adapter. It adapted my beastgrip cage to any of my moment lenses.

Uses this adapter on my beastrig cage so I can mount my moment wide lens. There slight vignetting on the outer edges no matter how much I adjust the position of the lens. You just need to zoom in slightly

This had the potential to be really good and don’t get me wrong, it is cos there’s nothing out there like it ESPECIALLY if you have an iPhone XS Max like I do. PROS: • Solid build. It really is. • The mount for M-Series Moment lenses is quite good. CONS: • There’s no way to get it out once it’s threaded in unless you use a screwdriver. Needed a thread on the disc so you could at least use a 1/4 screw to get it out. Needs work. • The anamorphic lens is quite snug but where it stops means you have to modify the lens opening to accomodate. Lucky Moment, had thought of having that feature for such a thing as this. • The Moment wide and Tele lens aren’t snug whatsoever. • Significant vignetting on both sides for all lenses cos the adapter doesn’t seat all the way to the back. That’s at least 1-3mm of space between the phone and the adapter. I have to modify the Beastcage lens hole with a dremel to remove the vignette or add more thread to the 37mm attachment. The first option is the easiest. The second would be better. I also had to rip off the rubber padding inside to see if could get it closer to the phone lens but to no avail. I gave it a 3⭐️ cos it was a nuisance to stop it from spinning constantly but somehow it right itself. I do appreciate someone making this tho cos it saved me. If this could be upgraded, with these changes in mind, that would be great. I’m giving it 4⭐️ cos it’s a lifesaver. Yeah it was annoying but I have a way to use my current gear to make my short film. I’ll take what I can get..

Passt perfekt in meinen Beastgrip was bedeutet, dass ich nun meine Sirui Smartphone Objektive mit diesem nutzen kann. Etwas teuer aber empfehlenswert!
