Buy it for protecting your trinket.
This small case works on the Adafruit trinket. NOT the pro trinket. This case is perfect for protecting your trinket from damage. The trinket case has cutouts top and bottom for headers. The reset button is extended by a small piece of lucite that is added to the case. Got a surface mount jst-ph connector cutout so you can add the connector. All in all a great little case. I wish c4 labs would make a case for the Gemma.

Looks nice, but does not work with Trinket M0.
The case looks very nice, but no matter what I did I was unable to get it to work well with the Trinket M0. The obvious problem is that there are a couple of components in front of the reset button. After filing down the plastic that goes over those components, the layers of the case were able to rest flush against one another. Unfortunately, I could not find a way to stop the button from binding after screwing the case together. Considering how difficult it was to put two of the screws in, I'm concerned that either the case is misaligned enough that it's causing binding on the button and screws, or the M0 just does not fit properly.

Interesting idea, poor implementation
Very bulky, annoying to assemble, clearly designed for people using jumpers rather than soldered connections because you cannot disassemble it and remove without cutting wires. Overall it should be a two piece snap-together design because the bolts stick out and the nuts aren't the nylock type. If I use nuts and bolts on something like this everything should be inset so the exterior is flush.

Fits like a glove
This case is nearly 5 stars. I had to file down some edges on the button piece so that the button does not get stuck. Otherwise, I am very happy with this product. It also came with no instructions but I was able to figure it out by using my brain. Some reviewers have said that it does not fit the 5v Trinket but that is not true. My 5v Trinket fit perfect despite the the "T" shape button piece needing to be filed down on some edges. I think the problem with the button would also affect the 3v Trinkets.

Needs modification to fit the 5v version I bought. ...
Needs modification to fit the 5v version I bought. The lower black wafer that the trinket snugs into needs to be thicker, because when you layer the next clear wafer on top, it crushes the button, and puts undue pressure one the micro chip, and the LEDs.The case I bought for the metro did not have this issue.with the button or chip as the clear layer has a different design.
