Prior to buying this one, we were using all kinds of toothpastes from Pepsodent, Close Up and Colgate as well. I got a pack of 4 for around Rs. 250 even though individually it costs around Rs. 100 for 120 grams. If it is available at a price around Rs. 300 then it is really value for money. I was satisfied with Colgate Total Charcoal Deep Clean, which is less expensive than this one. But when I bought this one once, I have not tried anything else after that. It is completely black in color, yet a bit transparent, unlike Colgate Total Charcoal Deep Clean, which is mix of black and white. Freshness it provides is good as well because of presence of mint. Charcoal may or may not be good for whitening the teeth but that was not a concern. I have finished two 120 grams tubes so far. Overall I am very satisfied with this one. Update 18-07-2021: After finishing 4-5 tubes, I realized that, forget about teeth whitening, this actually might be eroding teeth enamel, as I got too much sensitivity problem. So perhaps this should not be used as your regular toothpaste. I am changing the rating from 5 to 3. Have started using Colgate Total Charcoal Deep Clean toothpaste again. That perhaps does not have as much, so called, charcoal. Sensitivity problem has slightly got better now, after I stopped using this Charcoal Clean toothpaste. If Colgate Total Charcoal Deep Clean too does not completely help, I will use normal Colgate Total Advanced Health toothpaste or Maxfresh ones, but not Sensodyne.

I buy the Colgate Charcoal Clean Gel Toothpaste (120g x 4). I am using it first time. I don't know the effect of the toothpaste but after using it for 3-4 days, I feel good. The cleaning power is average like other Colgate toothpastes but smell, taste and freshness is good. I rewrite the review for telling the Whitening effect of the toothpaste after 1 or 2 months later. Overall, the effectiveness is good and this toothpaste is better than other normal Colgate toothpastes if you can buy it in INR 320-350 or less than INR 320.
