I have had several different mini sound bars and this one is the first to stand out in the crowd. Keep in mind that unless you drop $100 or more on speakers your never going to get something that sounds like your stereo, but for enhancing the audio on a laptop this is great.The base is much better than i have found on other units of comparable price. Volume is good enough to use in a home office to play music or watch a movie. The size is slightly larger than other ones, but i am guessing that is how the added base comes in.This probably isn’t something that you are going to be carrying around with your laptop; however, setting it on your desk below your monitor or in my case using velcro and attaching it under the shelf above the desk works great.The price is right for what you are getting. I would recommend this product.

I've been working with my laptop speakers for so long and they barely get loud even at 100 volume, so I decided to get this. Once I connected the soundbar to my computer and played a song I could immediately tell the difference. At first, I thought that the volume buttons were not working since the sound wasn't getting higher when I pressed the increase volume button but I realized my computer volume was at 30 so after adjusting from there I realized the speaker got to a really loud level which was great. The LED lights playing along with the song were an added touch and I'm glad I purchased this!

When I chose the black option, the description changed, no longer said built in mic. I was worried, but ordered it anyway. The instructions say nothing about the mic, using it for a computer call, or a zoom/goto meeting, which was very annoying. When I tested it on my phone it worked great. It had a hum at first, but I just had to push the connections in harder.I'm not used to using speakers other than my earbuds which use the same volume control, so at first they seemed very low in volume; then I turned up my phone volume as well :). Hahaha! Great sound for $22!! MUCH better than my laptop built-in. I have yet to test it on for computer meetings and calls - I have several this week and will update then.One of the lights went out after one day - very annoying seeing one light on a brand new speaker and I do not feel like exchanging it. Hit the power button twice quickly to turn these off. I actually liked the lights because they let me know if the speaker is on, but now I just keep them off.I gave it only 4 stars because of the incomplete description and instructions, and because of the defective light. Also because I don't expect this to work for my computer call this week, or the meeting. My computer device manager didn't recognize it as an audio output, only input. Maybe because it's a phone thing only, I don't know. If it DOES work with TEAMS and Goto, I will come back and change my rating to 5 stars. I will update my review either way. I have a TEAMs call tomorrow and a Goto meeting Wednesday.

Haven't had the speaker for very long, but it is just what I wanted to "help save" my computer's speaker. I have recently "retired" a 2006 iMac, and its speaker was barely working. Got a somewhat younger iMac - don't want to "upgrade all my apps." too much trouble to learn all new. The sound is very good, well balanced between tenor and bass since it is pretty near to me and my ears all the time. This speaker fits neatly just under the screen and is easy to set so it plays just the right range of volume. I know this will help this "new" to me computer speaker last a lot longer.

The sound quality is about what I expected at this price point. The LED lights on my first speaker didn't work. I contacted the seller directly and they sent me a replacement, without the hassle of a return, within a couple days. The new speaker's lights do pulse with the music, so it's a slightly different model than what's advertised now. I dislike the volume control - there's no memory so you start at "low" every time the speaker is powered. The button is kind of chintzy so it will probably wear out. the controls themselves are not obvious so I've given up on doing anything other than turning it on.

So I bought this knowing that it's relatively cheap compared to other speakers, but the reviews sounded okay enough that I went with this product. I regret doing so as I've now learned that the LED lights cannot be turned off by the "On/Off" button, as advertised. When attempting to turn them off, the entire speaker turns off, which honestly makes a lot more sense for the function of the only power button on the device. The biggest issue I have with not being able to control the lights is that they are flashing uncontrollably with no visible pattern while audio plays. So I certainly DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone who has a history of or may be at risk of having seizures. IF the lights could actually be turned off, this otherwise might be a good product, but I'm returning mine to find something better.

The sound is great quality for your money and has great range. The flashing lights mentioned in a few of the reviews is not possible with the one I got (despite pressing the power button twice - which only turns the lights on or off), but I am pleased with the product thus far. To risk sounding like a broken record with the other reviews, this is of a pretty considerable size at a little over a foot. The felt pieces on the bottom allow it to sit comfortably under my computer monitor without sliding. I was a little worried about the wires being too short, but it ultimately worked with my standard sized desk with the tower underneath.

I was looking for an inexpensive speaker for my pc and this is perfect! it's not the greatest audio tho if you're looking for one with a lot of bass this is definitely not the speaker for you but if you looking for a half-decent speaker for your laptop or PC this is the one for you!Update: this ended giving static sounds while sound is being played after two days of using it. Definitely returning

The connector part to the computer was already breaking apart, ok for the price I guess.

Love the fact that the blue lights can be turned off. Easy to install.

They work exactly as a $30 pair of speakers would. Sound is not too bad, goes pretty loud. It does get a bit of static/tin noise when on higher, close to max volumes but if you're watching youtube videos or listening to Spotify it works good.
