This is a fully automated collar that reacts to loud sounds - a loud clap can set it off.I bought this for my geriatric Australian Shepard who is now deaf. He is a very good boy, but because he cannot hear anymore he does not know when we are acknowledging him unless he is specifically looking at us. He knows hand commands, but he has to see them to obey them.He is an indoor dog but loves to be outside in his large backyard. Unfortunately, has begun to bark at anything that he smells passing behind the fence and cannot hear me when I say his "quiet" or "come" commands. He has also has started to bark when we eat dinner. He won't go to his designated "spot" anymore because I never taught him a sign command for it. He is afraid we are not perceiving his non-vocal communications because he cannot hear when we speak to him.I gave this collar a try, but we are a multi-dog home. The collar goes off whenever any dog barks for any reason - including play. I had hoped that the collar would allow me to continue to leave the door open so he could go in and out as he pleases and stop him from barking while we eat, but instead, it just confuses him because it goes off when other dogs bark or other loud sounds so he cannot isolate the reason why it vibrates in order to learn to associate the vibrations with his own bark. If anything, he started to bark whenever it vibrated as if it were a doorbell around his neck.I'm guessing the collar would work for a solo-dog living in a quiet environment, so I have left a neutral rating of three stars. Unfortunately, it will not work for our needs and I cannot recommend it for a muli-dog household, regardless of whether the dogs can hear or not.If you're wondering, we've decided to just let him bark in the house whenever he wants to, and since I am working from home due to the pandemic, I just work out on the patio with him when he wants to be outside so I can tap him when he barks at passersby.

I used this on my small Boston terrier. But she started acting erratic. I thought that it might be too tight so I was working on it, and it suddenly beeped and vibrated. I observed that it would just randomly correct the dog, or my hand when it was off. The dog was very confused.I do have another one of these for the other dog and it seems to work fine. Although it doesn't really discourage him from barking. He has long hair and maybe it is not tight enough or something.

The collar is very easy to use, I have a German Shepherd that was barking at everything, Now that I am working from home, it wasn't a good thing, came across this collar, and it has cut down her barking by at least 80%, I just got it yesterday, charged it up and the strong vibration and beep tones got her attention, where no amount of scolding did! We will see if it continues to be effective.. it also comes with 2 collars a small and large to fit any dog..

I got this because my new dog from the shelter seemed to be a barker. The nice thing about this collar is that it beeps when my dog barks and makes him stop barking to look around for the beep. I only used it when people came over. I used it for about 3 mths on and off. Since then he has stopped barking unless he want's to go out or he hears something outside. It was easy to charge and the charge lasted for hrs. This was a really good buy. I recommend it to anyone who has a dog that barks too much. I don't believe in SHOCK collars, they are cruel! You can also set it for how loud you want it to be. I used #3 only, it can go to #5.

So far it's working well. I was concerned about strong vibration frightening so I set normal vibration mode. I put it on and the barking collar was activated when She barked , she went looking for what was making the sound and vibration, so distracted herself. Then barked again and it beeped vibrated again. Afterward, she totally stopped barking when the collar left on, just grumbling instead, which is fine. Really love it.

Great for family with 1 dog and no noisy children. In my home we tend to be noisy and there are 2 dogs. It vibrates and beeps when any dog around barks making it very confusing for the dog wearing it. I can't get it to turn completely off so when it's not in use (sitting on a table) if there's a loud noise, it still vibrates and beeps and scares the hell out of ya.Pros: Looks nice, battery has lasted several days, seems like good quality and well made.Best suited for an only dog. (In a quiet home)

The charge on this collar lasted 3 weeks which was fantastic. I think this is a great product and I would recommend purchase for anyone that has a normal barking dog issue. My dog gets highly aggressive towards other dogs and vehicles when walking him. During these times the collar worked for the first couple of days, but then he started barking through the vibration. It did continue to work for his light nuisance barking, but I was hoping it would stop his red zone barking. I was very happy with the quality and the two collars that came with purchase were very high quality.

The device works, just not on my dog. The buzzer goes off, it vibrates, she ignores it. Like other bark collars i've had, it's easy for her to shake it off - not slipping out of it, the clasp releases. Still and again looking for a good bark collar, although the one i had just before this one worked much better.
