Dead Zone, The: The Complete Series

I remember watching this TV show when it originally aired and I really enjoyed it then. I decided to buy it recently and I fell in love with the Dead Zone TV show all over again. The cast is amazing, the show is well written and shot. There are six seasons in this complete series and for the price, it's unbelievable. I recall reading about some confusion with the order of the discs from other reviews and I payed close attention to that. Not all the discs are marked as to which season they are on the front. There are five discs in season two and I did find the 5th disc along with the final season. The color of the artwork on the 5th disc is more of a blue color which is different from the other four that have a white background. So, I can understand how this can be confusing, however each disc states the season at the beginning after you put it in the DVD player. I must admit that I wasn't completely happy with all the changes that took place during the final season and there was no real closure at the end. Probably because I think they were expecting to come back with a seventh season, which never happened. Overall, I still enjoyed the series and highly recommend it.

Got whole set

great series. However the dvd case leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the discs are stacked on each other so I'm afraid of breaking the discs. this would have been a 5 star review if it had better packaging. I would have even accepted multiple cases per season. this seems to me just a bunch of unprofessionally burned dvd's. I haven't been able to test the quality but will update the review once I do,

I haven't seen this this series in years and was excited to view it. Great series and was impressed with the quality. Love Anthony Michael hall and was great to watch again.

The basic dvd’s were well made and they were well secured inside the case. The dvd’s that I’ve viewed have excellent picture and sound quality.

Funny, I remember watching this show back when it was first-run on TV, but now that I am revisiting it, I do not remember much about it, except that I still like it. Anthony Michael Hall plays the part well, as both a tortured and a warm, funny guy. With his physical therapist, played by John L. Adams, who is also his good friend, Nicole de Boer is his lost?not so lost love (also loved her in DS9) and David Ogden Stiers as the Rev., it's a fun show to watch. Glad I got the DVDs, I have no idea where else this show is available.

I wanted to review this item as other reviews nearly put me off purchasing it. Every disc played perfectly on my NTSC Blu-ray player. Picture and sound was amazing considering it’s an old tv show. The packaging I’m very happy with. Yes, the discs are doubled up but they’re all secure and the box is sturdy. Watching each disc in order was very easy and it also takes up less room on my shelf. I’d recommend this purchase to others as I’d be happy to buy more tv shows packaged in the same way.
