If you're trying to use a newer video card with an older power supply, you'll probably find you don't have the right 8-pin power connection to plug into the video card. This gadget will add a little more usable life to your old power supply by converting a couple of OG 4-pin molex to a modern 8-pin PCIe.

A good price for a pretty good adapter. good connections, nothing loose or cracked.Respectable gauge wire was used. Works as expected. Quite satisfied using this as a temporary solution until I swap out the PS which will have the proper connector.

Simple, worked great!One warning tho, don’t use these on a power supply that can’t provide enough power, I had one spark and die on me because of this :p

As it said. I fiddled with this for wahile. Tomorrow I'm going to try to pull pins ot of the PSU Molex and insert them individually. Might work...I'm trying to see if an apparently dead GPU really is. With the connection as tried, fans did not go on. So, GPU is dead...or just bad power. Will try again.

Seems my power supply (Corsair) has different style 4 pin power connectors than the classic clear/white of the past.Very tight fit. Really had to shove the adapters plugs into them. Didn't feel like they would fully seat.But, got them in far enough and able to power the graphics card.

It’s a very good product

These are very difficult to use because the pins are not well supported inside the connector, and the material is very cheap. The pins move around so much that its very difficult to plug them in. They also show low power when properly connected. With that said, I was able to make both adapters work after troubleshooting.
