These pasta bowls are just the right size and depth for many dishes, including pasta, cereal, and even makes for a great curry bowl. The look is classy and matches any and all serving styles. The weight of these are not so heavy that they seem bulky, in fact they are lighter than they look but definitely can handle a hearty meal. The dish looks beautiful on my red pottery dinner plates. We love these “bowl plates.” They are perfect for most pastas, stews, shrimp and grits, or anything that has a significant amount of sauce or fluid.

These high-rim plate-bowls are perfect for certain entrées in that gray area between solid food and soup. They hold liquid well, but allow for the use of a steak knife. Yet they are elegant enough to serve as the main place setting. I like their lighter weight, that gives the feel of porcelain, and the smooth surface finish that’s easy to clean. The reflection in the photo implies there is a recessed area in the bottom of the bowl. No such recess exists; these are flat-bottomed bowls with curved edges—plain, simple, light weight, highly glazed, and temperature proofed (yet inexpensive)! No, I’m not associated with the manufacturer, but I am an accomplished chef and technical writer.

These are the perfect spaghetti bowls! They are very durable, none have broken yet and we use them frequently. We wash in the dishwasher and use the heat dry cycle with no issue. They have a good weight to them and feel like a good quality piece. We will buy more of these as they are very versatile!

This set is elegant & well-made and it's a bit thick and doesn't get very hot when used in microwave! It can be used for pasta and serving plates for salad and rice too. It was well packaged and delivered fast!

J’ai tellement aimé ma première commande que j’ai commandé à nouveau 6 autres bols. Le bleu est très joli et met en valeur les aliments. Je les utilise plus que des assiettes classiques. Toutes les recettes ont l’air encore meilleures car c’est plus facile de bien présenter en étages ou avec sauce, huile, coulis, etc. Les rebords sont utiles pour aider à piquer les aliments. Toute notre famille les adore. Je cherchais ce genre de bol depuis longtemps et la couleur s’harmonise bien au reste de mon set (bleu IKEA)

Little bit small, but still like it..

I read reviews stating people had been disappointed with the quality of these bowls, let me tell you these bowls are just perfect. I've had a few sets of bowls purchased and these are top quality. Very happy, not a single defect on any of the 6 bowls and they look and feel like far more expensive bowls.

More cream colour than white. Quality is ok for the price paid.
