Love This Shampoo! Clean and Affordable, Great for the whole family!
The media could not be loaded. We have been loving Acure! We wanted to find a clean, non toxic shampoo that would work for our whole family. I have thin, straight hair and my husband has thick course hair, we have found that the different types of shampoo work best in our hair, creating thickness and volume for me and hydrating my husband's hair. The conditionar and shampoo smell great and leave your hair feeling soft. For girls with long hair, who might not wash your hair everyday, you do need to wash your hair twice to make sure your hair is not greasy.

Amazing, incredible, and perfect!
This is the conditioner for me, so much so that I doubt it could ever be improved upon. I will continue to buy it forever as long as they don't change the formula (please don't change the formula), but if the time comes when it is no longer available, I will unquestionably have a very irritating few months until I find a substitute that will invariably disappoint. For reference, I have very long, straight, and somewhat dry hair. It's down to my hips, and not chemically treated or blow dried. If I use a good conditioner my hair feels like silk, but if I don't, the ends can be like straw. This conditioner is PERFECT in every way, from the wonderful silky shine it gives me to the fresh, herbal and spicy smell of the essential oils. Before this, I was using the orange version of Andalou Naturals, which had great reviews but feels more like a moisturizing cream than a conditioner. It's thick and waxy feeling, and has a lot of shea butter. It made my hair soft, but it left a dull, waxy buildup that got worse every time I used it. Not for me.The Acure, however, is absolutely amazing. The consistency is sort of a thinnish, white, shiny liquid, and I wasn't sure it would be moisturizing enough when I first smoothed it on because it doesn't have the same kind of slippery feeling of non-natural conditioners. This is misleading, however, because the natural oils that are in there are definitely up to the task. You might not be able to feel exactly how much needs to go on the way you can with a slippery-type conditioner, but once you experiment with getting the right amount (really, just use the amount you think you would ordinarily need, even if it doesn't feel like enough), you'll see. If your hair is anything like mine, this could be the best conditioner you've ever used. It certainly is for me!

My hair has never been softer, but it smells like blood orange, not watermelon.
I have very fine, straight hair with a scalp that leans oily. I only use silicone-free conditioners because silicone weighs my hair down. I'm also very sensitive to fragrance. Needing a conditioner that is both silicone-free and has a light fragrance greatly limits my conditioner options. I had been using the Garnier Fructis Watermelon Hair Mask as my conditioner for several years, but it was discontinued. I tried a couple options from Ulta, but they either made my hair too greasy or the fragrance was too strong, or both.I have been pleasantly surprised by this Acure Conditioner. While the name of the product is "watermelon conditioner", I can't smell any watermelon at all. Unfortunately the scent profile leans heavily into the blood orange, a scent I have never liked. So I don't love the scent. BUT it is subtle, and it does not linger on my hair. I can only smell it while I'm using it in the shower, so it's been ok.This conditioner is easy to apply and rinse out, and it makes my hair softer than it has ever been. My hair looks and feels healthy, and I'm experiencing less breakage. My only complaint (other than the blood orange scent) is the packaging. The tube I received is the old peach/white packaging (not the new blue one). Amazon slaps a sticker right on the tube which, when removed, leaves a sticky residue. I wrapped some clear packing tape around it so I wouldn't feel the stickiness. Also, the lid is not removable. Like, you can obviously flip the cap open, but you can't fully unscrew it. Water drips down into the cap during the shower, and I just don't like the idea of water sitting in that cap. I dump it after each shower, but still. I would prefer it if you could unscrew the cap completely to make sure no mold grows.Even with the negatives, I still give this 5 stars because at the end of the day, I like how easily it applies (and rinses off) in the shower, and my hair seems softer and healthier since I've been using it.

Increases Hair Volume, Doesn’t Smell All That Great
First and foremost, yes, the product does increase hair volume and does so quite well. It’s free of all the nasty things like parabens, sulfates, and petroleum as well. However, the product’s fragrance just doesn’t smell that great.

I am amazed at these results!
I used to wash my hair with the leading antidandruff shampoo and conditioner. I transitioned to Acure after I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition because it's helpful to limit environmental toxins (when you can) to decrease symptoms. I had no idea the positive effect this would have on my hair! After less than a week of using Acure's combo for hair with buildup, my hair became softer than it's been in years and my coworkers even asked what I was using in my hair because of how great it looked! Now, my hair is easier to style and doesn't get greasy as quickly as it did with the other brand (usually one day). I also notice less flaking and better scalp health in general. I'm truly amazed at how much of a difference this made. I've now been using it for 4 months and am never going back to harsh chemicals! These results are easily worth giving up fragrance and other additives. I did have to give it a few days to cleanse my hair/scalp of all the oils and buildup before it started really working well, so plan to use it for the first time over the weekend.
