Honest review
Hello Everyone, This is kinda long just talks about my grow experience. The only thing worth knowing is the last sentence as it's basically why I wrote this. So to start off I did a lot of research on the type of medium I should use for my grow. I looked at soil, soiless, Hydro and aeropots which aeropot didn't even hit the radar just listing to be nice and not forget anyone. I will say this is a quality product it's like holding silk in your hands. The medium is properly amended. Overall I've had my plants in this soil for about 20 days now and Overall the plants seem to be loving it. However, I am Ph'ing my water to 6.2 and I totally didn't even think that the lime contained in this would drop my ph even lower... I am currently watering my plants until runoff and noticed that my plants were still growing, but one seemed a bit behind the other. This could be the seed/genetics medium water added nutrients or that my runoff was 5.1ph but whatever. Anyways, I did some research spoke to a few people and they advised me to continue with my daily feeding at my 6.2ph as this would be okay as long as I am watering at 6.2. I decided to bump my watering up from 6.2 to 6.6ph a few days later almost 5 days later so day 18 of life I have now been watering at 6.6ph for 2 days. I have now seen my runoff come off at about 5.6ph now and the plants are seeming to grow stronger and faster now even though it's been two days. I did take a few leafs off of this girl as they were blocking the beautiful shoots from below. May or may not end up being a good thing who knows. Though this could be to me removing a few leaves, but I will continue to water the girls at 6.6ph until I flush here in a few days at which points I plan on running 10 gallons of water ph'd at 6.2 through until I get a 6.2ph runoff. Will then apply nutrients and continue onward. I do however, feel as if I had know of the lime this experience would have been a little more eventful in terms of grow heigh etc etc who knows tho. I do think that I was able to catch it pretty soon at about day 13 I noticed it and by day 20 we have brought everything up. ANY WHO THERE IS LIME IN THIS MEDIUM THAT IS ALL YOU NEEDS TO KNOW so just know lime will lower your ph for you.

Great soil just add some nutrients b
Don't forget about ocean forest by same company. Just remember you need to give this type of soil nutrients. Great well washed coco coir. Top notch soil. 5 star

Good Soil
This is my favorite potting mix, I just wish it wasn't so expensive (this is my only personal gripe that doesn't affect the quality, which I think is great and worth it). I've never found huge chunks of junk in it like I have some other potting soils, haven't opened it to a swarm of gnats, and the germination has been satisfactory. Plants grow looking healthy and happy! That said, I like to add additional perlite or pumice to mine depending on what I plan to grow. Still, definitely worth the value and I will continue to use it in my potted garden.

Fungus gnats
Great potting media. Be aware of the fungus gnats. If you can let the bags sit for 60 days prior to use it will help. I bought several bags and had to use some right away. Gnats in my tent the entire grow. The bags sitting waiting to be used got opened after 3 months of sitting and it is gnat free. I have some pretty big buds coming in with this stuff and I've never grown any plants before. You can get a photo through veg without feeding in cocloco. I lack experience in comparing it to other potting medias.

No nutes needed!
I didn't need to feed for 18 seedlings days then transplant and 12 days into veg! Only ph'd water.. best stuff if you want normal feeding times. Other coco needs daily watering, this is just like soil in that it only needs watering ever few days.

This seems to be pretty good stuff!
First let me a dress a few things. As far as busted bags go, that is probably the fault of the shipping company being way to rough with these heavy bags. As far as sticks & whatnot in the mix, I have yet to find a soil mix that is organic that does not have that stuff in it. That's the organic part. They break down over time & provide your plants with more nutrients. Most other products I've used have way more organuc matter in them. On the bag it says something about forest floor products or something like that. That would be sticks & stuff. I think the stuff looks to be a really good product. I'll have to come back after my plants have been in it for a while to actually leave a review as to how good it is. I don't understand everyone griping about perlite??? Perlite is a good thing. I usually add more to mine to have about 15%-20% perlite. I like to use the larger courses pieces but that's where you get your drainage & we all know you need good drainage. I agree the price is a little on the high side but that is because it's not cheap to ship bags as heavy as these are. What are they like 40lbs? Ship 40lbs of anything & see what it costs you. All in all so far I'm thinking it's pretty good stuff. It has all the stuff in it that most gardeners spend money to add to other products. Earthworm castings & bat guano & a host of other good stuff that I don't have to add myself. Yeah I'd rather buy it for $20 too but that's not realistic. I'll update this in a couple months when I can gauge some results. Thanks. Jim.
