I'm happy again now that I can find my way to the local grocery store without getting lost in the vast Pleasant Valley housing development.As this set of Torx bits seems to be well-made and they arrived in a nice looking and useful box for keeping them organized - I can easily recommend this set.

This is an excellent set. The driver bits are well made, and are clearly identified. The easily slip in and out of a very well designed case. (The case is one of the nicer details of this set.). I’ve been actively using these the last week to excellent results, including a couple of projects yesterday.On a personal note, I have all but quit using longer Phillips screws for most projects (such as screwing together 2x4s or larger), since they tend to slip as you finish tightening them; I now greatly prefer Torx. But the challenge of using Torx screws is that they come in a variety of widths, so having exactly the right size driver bit is vital. This set makes that easy.Problem solved.

Storage capacity , ease of use and good torque

Using the bit to take out screws. I do this same job once a year for the last 2 years. It mainly uses the T20 bit for most of the screws. The nature of the screws I usually strips a few bits before the job is done. This bit lasted but it is a little beat up but I only used one for the whole job and it is still usable for next year. Last year I used some from a local tool place and I went through 4 bits.

picked up this set of screwdriver bits because they were advertised as magnetic, which is a feature I really rely on when working with small screws. In terms of basic performance, the bits themselves worked well enough… they fit securely in the driver, didn’t strip easily, and handled regular use without any noticeable wear after a few projects.The issue is with the “magnetic” claim. While the bits are very slightly magnetic, it’s nowhere near strong enough to be useful. A properly magnetic bit should hold a screw firmly in place, making it easy to position and start threading one-handed. With these, the pull is so weak that screws fall off almost immediately. For all practical purposes, they behave just like non-magnetic bits.If you only need inexpensive, functional bits, these will get the job done. But if you’re specifically buying them for the magnetic feature, you’ll likely be disappointed.
