provides a light to medium hold
I have wavy to curly hair, and this sea salt spray worked really well for giving me control and reducing frizz without weighing my hair down or making it feel like it had too much product. It left my curls feeling bouncy and soft, with just the right amount of texture. If you’re looking to enhance your curls or waves, this product is a great option! However, if you prefer to keep your hair less curly or more relaxed, it might not be the best fit since it definitely encourages a curlier look. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, which I really liked. It provides a light to medium hold, perfect for achieving that tousled, “just out of the sea” look. My son uses it too, and it works great for him as well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a natural, beachy style with good hold but without stiffness or buildup. Plus, the fact that it’s paraben- and sulfate-free is a nice bonus!

Wonderful for oily hair; you must try it.
This product has been a miracle for my oily hair. I have VERY oily hair and scalp, as in when I sleep over someone's house, I make sure to get up extra early so I can sneak in a shower before anybody sees how embarrassingly greasy my hair has become overnight. I picked this up on a whim at the drug store and I'm so glad I did. I simply spray this on after washing my hair, comb it through and that's it. The following morning, my hair is not greasy, not smelly, not flat. I used to have to wash my hair every single day, but now I can wash it every other day without feeling self-conscious. I do also have dry shampoo (my favorite is pssst!) that I spray in the morning I'm not washing my hair, just for added body and freshness, but my goodness, what a difference this has made in my life. Before I found this product, I used just the dry shampoo, but I would have to use a lot and it would make my hair feel so stiff and unnatural. Now the combination of both products has worked amazingly well for me. I highly recommend trying this if you have very oily hair. Fair warning: it IS drying, so I have some Argan Oil that I apply JUST to the ends, just to keep them from getting very dry. This keeps my hair healthy-looking and bouncy. I would give this stuff a hundred stars if I could. Please never stop making it.

Light matte hold, nice scent, great price.
I've used a lot of "sea salt" texturizer sprays off and on over the years, all with fairly good results, and this one's no exception. Out of most of the ones I've used, I'd say OGX produces the lightest hold overall coupled with a somewhat more subtle texturization, best when used in conjunction with a blow dryer to add volume. It'll produce a matte finish no matter how much you use. This is pretty much the same result across the board with most sea salt sprays I've used, albeit some may produce a "dryer" feeling or texture in your hair. It really does give you that same "after beach" look and feel. The smell is by far one of the nicest, gender-neutral and mild scent of the many I've tried. Most recently I used Not Your Mother's Beach Babe spray, which smelled strongly of coconuts. Very sweet. Not a bad smell by any means, but less than ideal if you're a 30 year old man. Beach Babe produced a firmer hold hold with the same matte finish, however I found it to produce more waviness than OGX. OGX has a much softer feel to it, but a lighter hold - whether that's a good thing, I'm not sure yet. So far I enjoy it, and it does seem to maintain my hairstyle sufficiently. For the price, I'd say it's definitely worth a shot. It'll never make your hair crunchy or stiff. Smells great and not overpowering, good for adding a little texture or that messy just rolled out of bed look if you're a guy or someone with shorter hair. If you're looking for durable hold or more intense waves, you may want to try Beach Babe, but I found this product to be suitable for my needs.

PURE WONDERFUL IN A BOTTLE!!
I have curly hair when wet, but once i dry it, it becomes thinner, fine and has ZERO volume, can do nothing with it, and i have been searching for the perfect texturizing product for months. I figured i would give this a try, it was not expensive at all, which is what i was looking for, most texturizing products out there are out of my budget. I am the blow dry and go kind of girl, i hate using styling tools unless i am going somewhere special, so i was elated when the very first time i used it, i could not believe how easy it was to style my hair without much effort. it looked so good, had volume, texture, not the sticky crunchy feel to it at all that some products give you. My only advice is, don't be surprised if once you spray all over, run your fingers through your hair and feel like you have over sprayed the product in your hair. That is just the way it feels, it is giving the hair shaft the texture prior to drying it. You can also use it to leave your hair curly. I have done that as well, It does a great job of making and keeping great curls if you don't feel like styling your hair, or late in the day, need to get your curl back, just give it a few spritzs, this is pure wonderful in a bottle!! I will be stocking up on this for sure, i am in love with it and will most likely try other products in this line, give it a try if you are looking for texture or volume, you CANNOT beat the price and you will not be disappointed, i promise.

First time salt sprayer.
I'll start by saying I have straight, fine hair and it falls 2" below my armpit with lots of layers. I normally have to coat my hair with a very light hold hairspray to bulk it up before styling(I'm also a Cosmetologist). Having never used a salt spray before, I bought this to try and minimize the use of hairspray. I also chose this one because the reviews said it works, and that it smells "amazing". I find it smells good, but definitely not "amazing"-although it's hard to tell because I'm pregnant and hypersensitive to smells. With all that being said, I pumped about 10 sprays all over my towel-dried hair last night after washing. I was worried it might have been too much. It definitely didn't give my hair any sort of "instant wave". I let it dry overnight, and now my hair feels like nothing happened. It is still straight and fine-almost like the oil in it conditioned my hair(I also NEVER use conditioner). I went about my usual styling routine with the light hold hairspray and hot iron. If the spray is good for anything, I guess it helped to give my hair a "second-day" styling hold, which is ideal, except I used the same amount of hairspray as usual. Maybe I didn't use enough salt spray? I'll have to try one more time. I will continue my search for a good salt spray for bulking up my hair(if that is indeed what a salt spray is used for), and I will keep this one in the guest bathroom for now. Thanks for reading!

WORKS GREAT. TOO EXPENSIVE NOW.
Why is the price for one 6 fl oz bottle 95 DOLLARS? There is only one left so people are actually paying this? OMG This takes TARIFFS or CORPORATE GREED to a whole new level. I loved this stuff. Didn't gunk up my hair. I've had it for 2 years and its still viable to use. I am glad that there are other vendorS for salt spray. I WILL NEVER PAY 95 DOLLARS FOR A BOTTLE OF THIS BRAND.

Great for curly hair
Guy here. I recently started growing out my hair, in the last 2 years I have been trying to find a way to manage my curly/wavy hair and nothing comes close to this product. Tried gels and moose but most leave my hair feeling oily or just don't hold like I need them too. but with this Its basically a one and done type of product for keeping your hair curly and wild without having to worry about managing it every few minutes. Great smell and doesn't leave any residue in your hair, my hair has never gotten oily or viscus when using the product. The only problem I've had with it is that brushing my hair dry with the product on is painful at best. Curly hair with this product in just isn't going to be brushed dry, not unless your willing to rip some of it out haha. Easily fixed with wet hair in or out of shower for brushing though. For me the value is here, I've tried a lot more expensive products, this beats them in almost every category. Im so happy with it I'm actually leaving a review for it. And that's saying something. For 8$ i think its definitely worth a try for anyone.
