Perfect Day bed and trundle
I will be honest, I hate putting furniture together and I usually end up frustrated. This bed was easy to put together but it is very sturdy. It is beautiful and to be honest, I would expect to pay 10%-20% more for something of this quality. I will probably buy another one of these here soon for another bedroom. My only issue is I am missing one screw for a roller on the trundle but I found one that does the trick in my garage.

Good Things Come In 3 Smallish Boxes
This bed comes in 3 boxes easily carried and set up. All "tools" needed to put this together are included with ALL hardware needed to assemble it. I would attachTheLong back piece of the day bed to the two TALL bedposts together FIRST (back and arms wrought iron in 1box/4 posts in 1 box (2 of each size). Next attach the arm shorter wrought iron to the shorter post (the widest part will attach to the long constructed piece, this may take 2 people or prop the headboard (long section you put together first up and attach one of the side arms. Once you have both side arms on put box 3 with the mattress deck together. THIS DAYBED COMES WITH 1-MOST DO NOT. BE SURE THE ARROW STICKERS ON THE END ARE POINTING IN THE *SAME* DIRECTION. The poles stablize and the U joints secure, they bolt under like a U in the center. Make DOUBLY SURE ALL POST, MATTRESS DECK screws are TIGHTENED securely, but NOT OVERTIGHTENED. I added black thick grosgrain ribbon tripple looped from 3 places on the back "headboard" to the mattress deck and knotted-looks like it's supposed to be there. My mattress kept sliding back under the "headboard" to the wall 3 to 4 inches. Solution works perfectly and looks great. One idea if you have this problem. The bed looks and works great. I bought a heavier duty pop up trundle and will be making it into a King as needed for guests.

Very sturdy
I put the bed together by myself. It took some time but went very smooth. Impressed about how sturdy this bed is. And beautiful!!I got it for a small mobile home bedroom. This way it doesnt take up as much space as 2 twin beds. When we have company can pull out the trundle and use it

Great Bed, if you're willing to fix some glaring design flaws
I had a hard time with rating this bed, because i'm very happy with the end result, but it was a bit of a journey and required some extra time, money and effort thrown into it... out of the box with zero modifications, I'd give this bed a 3-star rating... maybe less. I gave it a 4-star, because it is a great bed... if you fix the errors with it... hence there's no way I can give 5-stars because that's perfect out of the box and this is not that.ASSEMBLYThis bed, out of the box is very sturdy, very beautiful... assembly was for the most part straight forward and simple... if you have two people, this will go fast and smooth, I built it alone with no help (for my daughter's room who was out of town), so there were a few tricky parts, but I managed. It ships to you in 3 boxes... 1 box with the metal bed frames (back center and two sides) along with the hardware, including the screws to mount the suspension deck to the rest of the frame... a 2nd box with the 4 wooden headposts (no hardware in this box) and a 3rd box with the suspension deck and the hardware to assemble it (remember the screws to attach the suspension deck to the frame are in the 1st box). To be clear, there were some mentions of the suspension deck having springs... no it does not... it's just a standard hard-metal tube frame, no springs (see pics).THE DESIGN FLAWS (yes, there are a few)First, there is about a 7-inch gap on the back of the frame just above the suspension deck... a thin mattress (8" or less) has a good chance of sliding through the frame out the back (a few reviews mentioned this)... I used some 2" Solid Black Grosgrain Ribbon to act as a "mattress catcher"... it doesn't look bad and when the bed is put together with mattress, you never see it anyways... I also used the same Grosgrain Ribbon to add a little width to the suspension deck (on either end) to help support my daybed skirt. These are both minor issues and may or may not be a problem for all, but it was a fairly easy fix if needed.A second problem... the suspension deck... it's rather odd, as it is not entirely flat... all along the middle there is a rather large bar that sticks out taller than the rods on either side (see pics)... I can see this leaving some sort of crease or bump in any mattress placed on it after time... I solved this problem by placing a couple of pieces of cardboard from the shipping boxes on either side of the bar... a simple solution, but once again something I shouldn't have to fix at this price point. The third, and most severe flaw... the 8 screws (in box1) to attach the suspension deck to the rest of the frame... they are M6-90mm screws and they are far too long... using only hex nuts to secure them, leaving a long exposed screw pointing death to your mattress with sharp metal edges that is sure to tear straight through any mattress (or bedding) over time (see pics). I fixed this problem by acquiring eight M6-80mm screws and M6 Acorn Hex Cap Nuts (Steel, not Nylon!) to protect the ends from tearing the mattress... this made the screws the correct length and protected (I also used the same M6 Acorn nuts on the rest of the assembly... not required, but why not). All the other screws that came with the frame were fine, it was just those 8 screws that attach the suspension deck to the frame that were the problem... for $300, they should have included the correct screws... other people mentioned having their mattresses ruined, i will not have that problem with mine.As anyone may want to know, also the clearance from the floor to the bottom of the frame you would slide a trundle under is just shy of 14 inches... about 13 and 3/4 inch of clearance.I'm very happy with this frame... sturdy and no squeaking... but only after some modifications.... out of the box with no changes, you will have problems!

Great value
After looking for quite some time for a daybed that was sturdy, stylish, and not terribly expensive, I decided on this daybed based on other buyer reviews. There were others at this price that didn't even come with the link spring. I am 6'4" 200 pounds and I sleep on it every day. No problems so far. Assembly took about 30 minutes by myself. Some people might need an extra set of hands to connect the base. All the tools are included with the hardware. In a traditional daybed use, you might need a lower profile mattress as the base is pretty high. Since I'm using it as a bed, I purchased a big poofy mattress which looks a little silly as a daybed.Enjoy!

Nice aftermath!
It's probably a two-man job I handled it myself it wasn't easy the first part especially the bars getting the two metals together once that is accomplished and you figure it out which way the goes then it's probably down here on easy from there. The bad part is that the end when you go to put the post and everything on there's no directions on tell you which bolt to use lock washer and regular washer I figure it out for myself but you shouldn't have to I only have one page of directions and they ended just before you put the post together but it's a beautiful creature it's huge I love it
