Good quality, Reasonable size
Though not to scale with other animals from Safari (and really, who would want that?), this is a good quality reproduction of the fish - the weight is comfortable, and the markings are crisp and clear. The fins are reasonably flexible, but won't be easily torn or broken off by enthusiastic handling. The mouth is in a slightly open position, indicating the natural resting position for the Goliath, and it does not open, which is probably for the best (given that young children may be playing with it).

Excellent detail, wrong kind of plastic
This figurine has excellent detail of a predator species I've never seen available before, though I have seen a live example in a public aquarium. The price is reasonable. I have loved coll I have loved collecting a number of Safari figurines. HOWEVER, I prefer hard plastic which does NOT squeeze and which does NOT have a chemical odor. Very young or especially destructive children might cut or tear off fins. Until this year ALL the figurines I have gotten were hard plastic. Safari has previously always had the highest quality. I am disappointed.

Beautifully done, and cute looking replica
A beautiful and realistic replica with great (and cute) face. It has a semi flexible mouth, fins and tail. The fish is skillfully painted on a realistic plastic texture with the fish's normal camaflauge colors. Very well done! No sharp or loose parts.

Great detail, perfect size.
Perfect for my kids who love Cyril Chaquet! The detail is great sand it’s perfect size for a GI Joe or plastic army guy to catch.
