XLNT Noodles
After enjoying Nissan's Shrimp Cup Noodles for years, I found they were no longer available in any of our local supermarket chains: Albertsons, H-E-B, Kroger, Target, Wal-Mart, Whole Foods, plus the 'dollar store' family of shops. I asked several of store managers to do a search of their 'available products' and this revealed that the Cup Noodles were not in their inventory. So I turned to the Internet. Voila! Although I had to order 12 (no problem), and paid a little more that the price I remember (~39 cents each), it was well worth the extra cost. The Shrimp flavor is our favorite, and having them available on-line is well worth the extra cost. I will be back to order when our current 'stock' is depleted.

EZ way to make noodles
At the prices AMZ makes this available, it's a great way to make noodles without any cooking effort. BUT don't imagine you'll be able to taste the shrimp; there are only 2 or three about the size of a 3 in this type face. But you can add some bay shrimp, bought already cooked, when you add the boiling water and get a good meal, still under 3.5 ounces and a buck, plus some water; good diet item as well as a time saver.

Decent, flavorful, cheap
Yes these noodles are cheap, but they are perfect for the college student on the go. They are more of a snack than a meal, and if you treat it as such you will be decently satisfied. I prefer to cook mine with an egg and add in some green onions, to create more texture, but otherwise it is your run of the mill cup of noodles. Mine shipped quickly, and was delivered intact without any dents, so I was decently pleased with that.

Good noodles, but tastes like chicken
These Cup Noodles are super easy to prepare and easy to eat out of the cup. I was drawn to this variety because of the shrimp, since I don't like chicken or beef noodles. However, they taste like chicken or beef or pork or a mixture of the above. I didn't taste shrimp at all. A dash of soy sauce helped the flavor. The noodles stay firm long enough to eat them all, without getting mushy like some pasta products. There are a few dried peas and carrots in the mixture, but it really wouldn't hurt to toss in some leftover vegetables if you have them handy.Overall, they are quick to prepare and very inexpensive, so you really can't go wrong with them.As it turned out, they reason they tasted meatier to me is because they do contain chicken and pork. Hopefully this ingredient list will be useful to other shoppers.Ingredients: Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Vegetable Oil (Contains One or More of the Following: Canola Oil, Cottonseed Oil, Palm Oil, Rice Oil), Preserved by Tocopherols and/or TBHQ and/or Ascorbyl Palmitate, Salt, Dehydrated Vegetables (Carrot, Green Pea), Freeze-Dried Shrimp, Soy Sauce Powder (Wheat, Soybeans, Maltodextrin, Salt), Monosodium Glutamate, Hydrolyzed Soy, Corn and Wheat Protein, Spices, Caramel Color, Potassium Carbonate, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Pork Powder, Garlic Powder, Natural Flavors, Chicken Powder, Sodium Alginate, Disodium Succinate, Disodium Guanylate, Disodium Inosinate, Shrimp Powder, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Cod Liver Oil.

nissin cup o noodles shrimp
styrofoam bad for the environment.,...but i put in the recycle bin. easy to make in the microwave and if it gets cold.....warm up the same way. most of the liquid absorbs tho in the noodles which i find can also be a great side dish. works well in the majic bullet to make cream of shrimp/noodles soup which is my reason this time for purchasing......extensive dental work coming up and this will work out great. heavy on the sodium but i dont salt any of my other foods....salt shaker not even visible in my kitchen.

Not too shrimpy
Nisson makes good noodles. Me and my family like these better than Maruchan or Roman. the have the typical salty beef like flavor that doesn't taste like an imitation. I don't really care for shrimp but the seafood taste isn't overpowering so I enjoy these for a quick cheap lunch while I'm on the job.
