How far does tool expand?

Not far enough. I returned this item because it didn’t stretch the ring enough to get it secured.

Is this picture wrong for the item listed? i have looked it up and the picture is of a 383eer4001a not the 383eer4004a, 4004 has a 90 deg bend

Looks exactly like the one I received. Bought it to spread the spring on the wire which holds in my washing machine liner. Worked perfectly.
