Finally a faithful clone at an amazing price point.
After owning it less than 24 hours I already love it. If you can find an original TB-303 in great condition it will cost you an arm and a leg, and honestly the vast majority of them will have problems by now. Getting a faithful reproduction straight out of the box is amazing. I've read some reviews complaining about how it's "impossible" to program, or at least exceedingly difficult. It took me a bit of playing around, but I've been able to program multiple patterns that came out precisely as I imagined them in my head. If you've only ever used MIDI/computer-based sequencers and you're expecting something similar you need to think again. The on-board sequencer is *exactly* the same as the one that came with the original TB-303. Perhaps the reason I'm getting what I expect out of the machine is that I've been listening to acid house music for 30 years and I have realistic ideas about what I'm going to be able to produce, and what will sound good and funky. If you're looking for an extremely flexible synth that is easy to program and offers a wide range of textures and surprises then you do not want this little guy. If you're an old acid house head who is looking for a faithful reproduction of the quirky, idiosyncratic, funky capabilities that only the Roland TB-303 could offer then you will not be disappointed. I'm going to spend many, many, many hours writing and playing tracky, grindy, squelchy acid music with my new little friend.

This a great all around mixing console, and more...
I love this little thing. Pros - Right now it is controlling 2 audio monitors, headphones, a guitar, live microphone, and MIDI input, while interfacing with Ableton via USB at 24-bit/192kHz on my awesome PC. It does it all and hasn't failed me yet in the 3 weeks I've had it. I'm basically using it as an audio hub. This is a must buy if you want a great audio interface that has plenty of inputs and outputs. All channels are very clear without line interference or connection issues. It is small and lightweight but knobs and ports feel sound and of quality. I would buy it again without hesitation. Cons - If you are just starting to use a DAW, the Cubase that comes with it is rather difficult to use, there are more user friendly DAW's for out there.

Effortlessly create that classic "acid" sound
This monosynth has the sound many of us have been looking to create. While it is intimidating to program a sequence, there are many online resources to help. (look for sites like "Famous TB 303 Patterns") While Behringer copied the original Roland TB-303 sound even even it's esoteric programming workflow. There are a few interesting tricks in this version that the original never had. First is the built-in distortion. This is similar to common guitar pedal diode distortions of the 1980's, and has a very authentic sound. The other is there are MIDI ports. Allowing you to play the device using a keyboard controller or synchronize with a DAW or other MIDI devices. Finally there is a "CV" output, which means if you want you can ignore the sound output and instead use the TD-3 as a rather affordable MIDI-to-CV interface for modular synthesizers.

Silly, junky and fun
This is a really fun piece for very little money- certainly better than the Volca series. It has a cheap feel, but so did the Roland. Not very versatile unless you add a midi keyboard, but a viable performance piece or for recording.

Some cheap fun for electronic music
I don't know how much better the "real thing" might be, but these are fun little units! The ideas you come up with them sound very unique and "special". I wouldn't come up with the patterns this unit does any other way. Making a pattern is a really weird process, and I had to watch youube videos to really get the workflow, but the final results are unlike anything else I've come up with over the years with many different pieces of gear tried out. The price for what you get is really amazing. The unit has held up to same pretty heavy handed use, and I don't see any obvious signs of wear or indications that it won't last for a long time if not abused. For the price, if it seems interesting, give it a try, and if you don't like it, or ultimately can't work with it's workflow, I've seen them for sale used for almost the new price, so if it doesn't work out you could always recoup most of your money, and it will still be a learning experience.

Takes me back to my youth!
This is such a fun little box! I recommend downloading the Behringer computer app to sequence it though. The process of doing it manually takes a while as well as other features. I guess they wanted it to be as annoying to use as the original:) That said it sounds great! There are some mods you can do to give it more sonic range or growl and I'm going to void the warranty to do a couple. Right off the bat you can open it up and mess with the VCA and other knob values with a little screw. Make sure you use a multimeter to get the original value in case you want to set it back. I have been wanting one of these boxes for decades and have been using software versions but I really like a tactile thing to mess with now.

Really cool unti for a great price... but go software if you use a DAW!!!
Seriously, why anyone would use hardware units today is beyond me. This unit sounds great, is authentic in sound and control, but is a nightmare to program. I returned it and bought Phosycon 2 and would never look back. I have a controller keyboard so I mapped all the controls to the knobs on my controller and bam, same control. The sequencer inside Phosycon is also far easier to work with and you can drag the sequence right into your DAW. So, good effort Behringer, cool stuff, but forget hardware. <eyeroll>

Absolutely Perfect
I mean come on a TB303 clone for $150! It sounds freaking perfect! It works exactly like the real thing and, I honestly can’t hear the difference at all! Plus it’s got distortion built in and an audio input for the filter! I don’t know how the heck Behringer is doing this but, I plan on picking up as many of their new “old” synth clones as possible! I was a bit annoyed that the product came later than I was told but, Amazon rectified the issue so I’m all good!
