Hi there, Yes, the Fiskars Classic Stick Rotary Cutter will cut 10 sheets of paper. Literally just tested it myself, and it worked fine. Obviously the smaller the stack, the cleaner the cut will be. -Team Ninja Rhino

Not because it did not cut the fabric at all.

Will this cut very thin silk?

I don't see why not. It's extremely sharp. It cuts denim and that's hard to cut. So silk shouldn't be a problem.
