Fun Stuff.
My Grandfather turned me on to Louis Lamour and Zane Grey novels and they're fun reads. So I bought a couple of these collections and put them on my MP3 players. I listen to music when working on cars/motorcycle or lawn/garden stuff. I set the Walkman to shuffle and these stories and others pop up. I brought the MP3 players and speaker on vacation and we stayed at a couple of outback places with no tv or anything so I pulled this stuff out like an old radio program. It worked for outback entertainment. Makes me happy.

I didn't like the female character so I give this story one ...
There are three discs. One for each short story. Each disc, short story, takes about an hour to play. One for the Mojave kid is about a young man arriving in a small town and making the place his home. It's a five star story.Lonigan is a short story about a silly dimwitted woman. Lonigan shows up in the last five minutes. I didn't like the female character so I give this story one star.War Party was okay so I give it three stars. The average for the three stories is three stars, which is what I give this three hour collection of shorts.

I LOVE Louis L'Amour's books
I LOVE Louis L'Amour's books. There is a sameness to them but he writes in such a way that you can close your eyes and almost be there in the middle of whatever he is describing.

Worth it!
If you haven't purchased Louis L'Amour CDs before, consider it a wise investment. We love these for long or short drives. The stories are always good--and the readers are professional. You honestly can envision the story as it unfolds.

Louis L'amour
You can't go wrong with a L'amour western. They are great to listen to when I'm on the road. Lonigan is the best story of the three, but I enjoyed all three stories. It is well worth the price.

Not for family.
Too many of these with different titles have the same short stories, plus bad language, not family friendly.
