Thermometer for Fever, Adoric Baby Thermometer - Accurate and Fast Readings Digital Rectal/Oral Thermometer for Babies and Adults

After checking this thermometer against another it appears to be accurate. There are some issues which could affect its accuracy in use though:Like all thermometers it takes time to take a proper reading, but the display indicates that the reading is complete before it actually is. If left in situ for the proper amount of time (e.g. 2 minutes by mouth, 5 under armpit) it works fine.The instructions on the box are insufficient, and the accompanying leaflet is in incredibly small print. Even those with good vision will struggle to read the directions, I had to squint with my eyes six inches away from the page.The instructions state that the thermometer beeps when the reading is complete, but this does not occur. This isn't a problem though, regardless of any audio or digital display indications it should always be left in situ for the proper length of time.Overall it's fit for purpose, but the manufacturer's poorly presented instruction leaflet, as well as directions on the box, mean that there is a high chance of user error.

Firstly the instructions are diar. I had to email the company via their website to find out how to switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius.Right from the start it was reporting it had a low battery so I got in a new one ready for when it died but replacing the battery didn't help; all I get is the reading of "Lo" when I switch it on and it no longer works. I've only had it 3 weeks. It's a complete waste of money. Spend a bit extra and get something better.

Product didn’t work. Amazon wouldn’t refund me without a physical return which I can’t do currently because I’m vulnerable because of Covid-19 lockdown and don’t have a computer at home to print a label (left the printer at work!-Which I explained profusely!!) They also asked me as “Prime” customer to pay for my own delivery return. Customer services had me on chat for a over hour and were extremely rude until they cut me of ending with “Have a nice day!”Absolutely useless product that doesn’t work-DONT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS MONEY!!- and worse the actual Amazon customer service Ishrad and Andrea whomever you may be as a faceless customer service at Amazon! (So rude and by the way Amazon don’t have a complaints department according to them-they had the ultimate authority to make decisions, told me I was moving to customer complaints when actually I only ever spoke to people -at home-who all obviously work together in the same “virtual office” who attempted to bully me into not having a refund. They seem to find it funny. ) That aside DON’T WASTE YOUE MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT, or your £79 a year like me ON AMAZON PRIME-and whatever your do, don’t waste your time on Customer service chat like me) I STILL DON’T HAVE MY MONEY BACK OR A THERMOMETER THAT WORKS.

My thermometer expired and I needed a new one. Local pharmacy was sold out due CV pandemic. Went on line & after much deliberation bought this one. It arrived ahead of time which a plus.I decided to try it out on my husband & was waiting for the beep to tell me that it was finished. “ Ten seconds until it beeps “ it said , NEVER made a sound!! Very disappointed & to be honest a bit of a rip off at £19.99. Do I get a refund??

This was purchased as an alternative to the in ear one we already have, as sometimes, when the kids are ill it's nicer to Bob one like this under the tounge or armpit, rather than the intrusive ear one.Pretty crappybox in all honesty, but the item itself doesn't feel cheap (not premium by any stretch but solid mid range).The results are perfectly in range of acceptability.Saves some tears, accurate and piece of mind. Overall recommended.

Great little digital thermometer for use for all the family. Easily to use and sterilise after use. I particularly like the cover which keeps it clean and easy to store

i bought this recently to ensure i did not have a fever. it is an excellent thing to keep in home, especially with the current overloaded NHS situation where they ask you your symptoms in detail before they can see you in person. definitely a must-have

Item arrived a day before expected.Good clear case. Easy to use. I like the fact that you can clean yourself and don’t need to buy disposable caps.The buzzer doesn’t work on mine but it shows a happy face symbol if temperature is within normal limits.The instructions are in tiny print and are difficult to read.
