220-240 Volt/ 50 Hz, Bionaire BU1300W Compact Ultrasonic Humidifier, OVERSEAS USE ONLY, WILL NOT WORK IN THE US

It has been more than 2 years and it does a good job to humidify our bedroom. Runs for 12 hours at medium power on one refill of water.

Was looking for a humidifier since my kid was coughing with nose block at night. Really did not want to go for a costly one.Found this with a reasonable price in amazon and a very happy with the product.It is very light weight and almost silent , hardly makes any noise. Easy to clean , easy to fill water.

The product is good and just as described in the description. The only issue I had was with the instruction manual that sucked. It describes the bottom half of the product as the TANK whereas, the water is to be poured in the upper half. The bottom portion of the upper half is where the lid to pour water is, and even the sketches in the instruction manual dont show this!But the product itself works well, steam spouts out smoothly, and I think my son's dry cough has reduced now.PS: Having said that, i realise now that the pictures in the amazon website is more accurate than what the product booklet has.

Product worked fine initially but stopped working just after first cleaning. We didn't do any out of the way cleaning procedures, simply followed product manual. We had to return the product as it stopped functioning

I bought this product for my child. As usual, Amazon delivered it quickly with good packing. I have been using it for a week now. My child had cold and then cough. The cough did not stop after the cold subsided. After using the humidifier, the cough stopped. The good thing is, we can run this the whole night and it gives out a cool mist slowly over time. A vaporizer in contrast, would consume more power and produce steam quickly. However, the water will be exhausted quickly and you may have to get up in the night when the cough resumes. Also, the humidifier stops automatically when the water is exhausted, while we have to keep monitoring the vaporizer and turn it off when the water finishes.This humidifier should consume 18 w as per the specification, which works out to 18 W * 10 hours = 0.18 units for a 10 hour use per day.I use RO filtered water with this humidifier. So far, I have not observed any "white dust" that is a common disadvantage of ultrasonic humidifiers. Overall, I am satisfied with this product and hope that it lasts for a long time without any troubles.
