Best fan I ever bought! Worth every penny!

Best in price range by far, don't bother looking at others for better performance or quality. For once the "adspeak" such as the noise being a quiet hum are true. I've used rental units, and had the restoration company's expensive severe duty use models, in addition to purchasing inexpensive small and large blowers. Honestly would have appreciated having fans this quiet when a water tank issue necessitated blowers running 24/7 for days in my own home, we'd have all slept better! If you look into the mechanical issues of why one fan is louder than another, poor quality and design are the biggest factor in why some will have an annoying whine or loud turbulence. So many of these look near identical, but a choice few are actually better than the rest. Spend a little more for this 1/2hp model, and you won't regret it when you live or work in a space where the thing is running.

A very powerful fan for drying wet areas. It is also relatively quiet when you consider how much air it moves.

This dries up water in a hurry!. Our HVAC unit sometimes throws the GFI receptacle and causes the pump to stop working to eliminate the condensation from the unit and it goes on our garage floor until we reset it. The sound level is that of a box fan. Good value for the output. This dries the concrete floor in a quick amount of time and doesn't take up a huge amount of space. Great purchase!

We had a flood in our basement and purchased this to help dry the floor and the wall and it works amazing.
