Is this a qwerty keyboard?

Yes, it has a QWERTY layout available.

upgraded to the cynosa v2 today and now the hotkey function on my ugreen kvm has stopped worling, any ideas on a fix?

Please test the keyboard on another PC then reach out to Razer Support so they can further assess the issue.

Should this item have come packaged in an Amazon box? Mine arrived yesterday but was not packaged (spoiling a suprise birthday gift)

Yea every package should come with a Amazon box to protect the item but if its not damaged i would'nt pay any attention to it just put it into a box and wrap it

What is the real size of the keyboard because the dimentions seem to suggest its a square

The keyboard's dimensions are ‎18 x 6.85 x 1.29 inches.
