I have hydroponic gardens that need a special amount of fertilizer every couple of weeks. The containers they come in don't allow for easy pouring so I always end up getting fertilizer all over which isn't great. I was looking for a better solution that could also measure how much fertilizer I'm using. This is exactly what I was looking for. The pipettes are long enough that they can reach the bottoms of the bottles of fertilizer that I'm using and with the precise measurements I know that my plants are getting what they need. The only downside is that getting the bulbs on is a bit difficult but great once they're on. I'm sure with more use they'll be easier to get on and off as needed.

These things work as anticipated. Quality is in this product.

Only reason I have to change out to a new one is bc I might drop the one I'm using and it breaks. The tip breaks easily but still usable. The rubber cup lasts a long time - only had to switch that out once. Great Lab equipment and lasts. Properly marked as well.

Was a little afraid hearing them all clanking around in the box, but they were all fine. Markings are clear, bulbs are robust and fit really tightly. The finish on the ends of the pipette could be a little smoother and consistent. Some are cut at an angle, some flat, some bigger than others, but for the price, they aren't too bad. Durability is a little sketchy, and I'd be extremely careful while pushing them into the bulb. I had one of these drop about 2 ft onto soft carpet and basically explode into sharp shards that flew out in all directions. So they're quite fragile and i dread to imagine one shattering while pushing them into the bulb.

I bought these for a couple classic home chemistry sets. Something from my childhood past. Using them to make precise solutions for simple experiments. I found these to be of decent quality, prefect size, and more than adequate accuracy for my needs. They also fit into my bottles of stock solutions nicely. As an added bonus, I got 2 stirring rods and a brush for cleaning. Being glass, they handle acids and bases well. All for a reasonable price. Anyone needing such supplies, these are great, also very good for home schoolers, and they don't break the budget. I recommend.

So most the items i buy on amazon are because of the money i save. This product is no different. The price comparison was relative but what sold me was the extras. that it came with 2 glass stirrers. Which i needed for a kit i bought of cylinders and didnt want to buy a new pack of stirrers. So this was absolutely perfect. The quality of the glass was at least .2mm thicker then one from my local supply store. But at a value where i get 6 for the cost of 2. I found these to be a great quality with an exceptional value relative to local prices. What put it over the top and made me choose this brand was the extras. Which I am glad i did because I expect them to last longer then i thought because of that quality.

A nice set for transferring various solutions. The bulbs are easy to attach, but are hard to remove, I'm a little.concerned they may rip so I've left them on. Maybe a little soak in hot water will.do the trick.

I ordered this set of pipettes to use to measure the densities of common household items, for a density gradient lab for my children for home school. I had worked in a lab about 15 years ago, and we used the Mohr pipettes for viscous liquids that would not go through the volumetric pipettes. So, I ordered this set, because I was using Karo corn syrup, maple syrup, and two very thick dishwashing liquids for samples to test. These pipettes have very narrow tips, so much that these items would not go into the pipette, or if they did, they were not able to drain out sufficiently. I was very disappointed I could not use these for my purposes, and wonder if they have any of the larger-opening Mohr pipettes anymore. I ended up using a 2-mL syringe made for dispensing children's cough syrup. These pipettes look fine for very thin liquids, and the blue bulbs seemed to work well.
