Incredible juicer
Update on Sept 18 2021: This is by far the worst plastic material used in a juicer. My juicer has broken thrice since the first time I purchased it. Return this juicer, do NOT get a replacement - your return window does not get reset. After I bought the replacement part last time, I had stopped juicing. Today I used it after a good 4 months, and the plastic cover over the auger broke - this time with finely chopped carrots - still the stupid thing broke. Now will try the warranty, after having paid for the parts before this. I am sick of this faulty juicer. Original Nov 1 2020 review: I have owned this juicer for a week and it is by far the very best juicer I have owned. The food wastage is about one-tenth of the previous centrufugal juicers. The motor is large but the juicing parts are small and so, so easy to clean that we have made fresh juice almost every day. It is very quiet compared to the Blendtec or Nutribullet - and does not impact anyone else's zoom calls at home ;). I am in love with this machine, and I am praying that it lasts and none of the plastic parts break. I am very protective of my kitchen countertop space, but this incredible juicer has a permanent place on it!

Very efficient, quiet and easy to clean - and beware - some partsare not available for replacement
Update: After 2 years, the accessories started to fail. The chute broke and I got it replaced. And after few months, the cap started melting - always hand washed never used in the dishwasher. And this part is not available for replacement. The machine is solid, but the accessories are made to break.. Very efficient and easy to clean. I used to own vertical masticating juicer, which was difficult to clean. This one is very quiet and very convenient. Recommend.

Manufacturer does not Respond to Warranty Claim
DO NOT BUY!!!! Purchased in December 2020, used about 10 times. Made great juice until the plastic parts started shooting out of the machine. Carrots and ginger were in the juicer at the time. I submitted an on-line warranty claim on March 13, 2021, per the manufacturer instructions. After a full month without any response, neither email or phone, I called the customer service number on 4/13/21 during their advertised 'business hours', but received a voice message saying to call back during their 'business hours'. Left detailed message that I had submitted warranty claim electronically and attempted to call with no success. Today is five weeks and still no response. Jan 15, 2022 Update (a year later): The Legacy Companies, who own Omega Juicers, had not replied to my warranty claim noted above so I contacted Amazon to complain in early 2021. Amazon did arrange for a new Omega Juicer to be sent to me at no charge. I received it in April 2021. Then, in August 2021, I received the first reply from the Legacy Companies regarding the warranty claim I filed the previous March. Apparently they were not aware that Amazon had sent me a new juicer. I informed them of this and expressed my concern that the plastic parts would break again. Sure enough, by late August 2021, four months later, the same plastic parts were broken on the new juicer. I began contacting The Legacy Companies again. In September, an email from them offered to send me parts, which would have required unassuming the juicer body to repair the main cog assembly. I responded to explain this. I never received any parts and from September to December 2021, I received 15 automated emails from the Legacy companies saying that my issue has been resolved and they would close my ticket if I did not reply. I replied to every one of those emails and on December 28, 2021 I received an email from a real person, Gina, a customer service rep. Gina arranged for a new juicer to be sent. I received my new, and third, Omega N/C Juicer on January 6, 2022. Today is January 15, 2022; a plastic piece of the main cog assembly broke today, the second time I used the juicer. I had allowed my veges to come to room temperature before using and cut the pieces smaller than recommended in an attempt to avoid breakage. It's absolutely no use. Until parts are made of durable material, this model juicer will be useless. The last picture in my review was taken today of the piece that broke after two uses. I hope this review saves someone else from throwing away their hard earned money with no way to get it refunded; the product is a piece of trash.

Very unhappy with the quality of this machine
I purchased this machine as a friend had an Omega juicer and loved it. She had a older model and never had a issue. I chose this one as it was a newer model. After a few times using I had the locking ring crack. I called and they replaced for free charged $9.95 for shipping. I received it and used the machine twice within 30 days, and it broke again. I called and got that piece replaced. I used it again and worked fine. The second time I used a different piece broke the end cap. Again I call the company and they are replacing this piece but now again $9.95 for shipping. I asked if I could just get a different model that doesn't have so many issues and they said it would have had to be in the 30 days . I have had it for 9 months and it has had broken pieces 3 times. I have little faith in the quality of the machine not having issues in the future.

Little heavier to move around than the other model
Works as intended. I juice almost daily a blend of wheatgrass, apple, kiwi, lemon, ginger, peach, and pear. It suits my needs and because it's a cold press juicer, the full vitamins and nutrients remain strong for 48-72 hours if stored in the fridge. It's fairly quiet, and easy to clean once you're done with juicing. A little heavier than the previous omega juicer I had which was discontinued. I'm not sure why, but there is one extra cap, and it tends to drip from there.

It's true, the plastic parts break and are hard to replace
UPDATE: Attempted to order the part I need but is listed for the NC1002HDC - which is EXACTLY THE SAME as the NC1000HDS but is just at the 220V for Europe. This End Drum piece has nothing to do with the voltage - it is ONLY the end piece, and is exactly the same part I need but isn't available in the U.S. Well.... they won't ship it to the US. So will be calling and attempting to contact Omega YET AGAIN on Monday. In the meantime we still have a $300 bulky paperweight. We bought ours in late 2020, it's now January 2023 - so just over two years - which is a good long time for a juicer that's used on a regular basis (a couple of times a week) making juices from a variety of things such as carrots and beets as well as apples, celery, etc. We've also used it to make sorbets (orange sorbet from semi-frozen oranges and frozen yogurt are amazing!). And we take very good care of it, cleaning it carefully after each use as according to instruction and being careful during use to not force anything but allow gravity to do the work, etc. Cutting things such as beets and carrots smaller. All of it. BUT. it finally succumbed to the same issue I've read many others have had - the end drum and end cap, along with the other plastic parts, all suddenly broke one day sending shards of sharp plastic across the kitchen (thankfully not hurting us in the process) while juicing beets, something we've done weekly since we've had it. Something this one was advertised as being especially good at. Something I was specifically looking for in a juicer, one that could handle hard root vegetables such as carrots and beets. But it broke after only two years of use. OK, it has a good long warranty, we'll just get the parts replaced. So we ordered the replacement parts - trouble is, while they sent the adjustable end CAP, the didn't send the part that cap attaches onto - the end CAP DRUM. That is, they only sent the tiny last part of that end unit you see sticking out from the juicer drum, that two-part end drum cap with the adjustable head on it. You see it clearly as if it's one piece in the picture that displays all the parts, though we'd ordered the entire thing, they just sent the tiny little adjustable head on the end of it rather than the entire piece. Now, looking online I don't see the end drum piece on their website, and in fact am noticing it is difficult to find that specific part for this specific model (NC1000HDS). Not even on the Omega website. All they list is that little adjustable endcap, with no picture of it, and obviously with no end drum part when you order that (which is what we did). We've tried calling them, but first the number given on their invoice didn't work, went to a message saying the number has been changed - so we had to look up the new number. Got through on that but just to voicemail twice. We've sent an email but no response yet. Researching online we found it impossible to find that particular part... finally found a place in Canada that sold it, but they were sold out. From them, however, I was able to find the part number we needed: PDRUMCAPNC1000 (which works for the NC1000HDS as well). Back to Omega website - lo and behold, there it is, but no longer listed as for the NC1000 or NC1000HDS, but only for the NC1002HDC. Will this work on our unit? I have no idea as we still can't get ahold of anyone at Omega. So... going to order it anyway and find out. It took nearly a month to receive the other parts, so we'll see how long before this one gets to us. In the meantime, we have a very large and expensive paperweight. It is otherwise a great juicer. It does the job well, it does everything it says it can do, and it is quiet (for a juicer) in the process. I just wish they made the parts from metal rather than plastic, or something more durable. And even so, I don't mind having to replace parts every few years if they are (a) inexpensive and (b) easily replaced. But what we have so far cost us over $70. For small parts. And now we're going to spend at least another $30 on this end drum part, so this is about $100 on parts after only two years... if it does this twice more we may as well have bought a new one, as the parts will have added up to the same cost. And from what I'm reading in the reviews, we can expect it'll do that. Just saying. If it does it again, I'll just be purchasing another juicer brand, and this time will research to make sure it's more durable. I can't afford $100 worth of parts (and the time and effort it took to find them) every couple of years like this.

Wonderful Juicer if you use it properly
I have to say I am not surprised at the bad reviews I am seeing. I have had this juicer for a really long time and the main parts broke twice already. People are saying the warranty is crap but I’ve gotten free replacement parts twice no issues no problems and they get back to me very fast. If you think your celery, carrots, apple, ginger are small enough, cut them even smaller. Every few pieces empty out the tube, go very very slow or else it will snap as everyone says.

LOVE it!!
LOVE this juicer!! This is my 2nd omega juicer and absolutely love them. They're easy to use, extracts so much from your fruit and veggies and in my opinion is an easy clean up (I would ensure to rinse and clean the parts as soon as your done or build up can occur, especially from celery!). This machine has been integral part of my healing journey. Your health is worth the investment

Qualité médiorcre
après moins de deux ans avec une utilisation faible, mon extracteur Omega est déjà brisé. La roulette noire en plastique pour barrer l'extracteur avant l'utilisation vient de se casser. Donc qualité très médiocre.

ease of use
It works very well for celery, just a bit of a pain to clean, but much better than a previous machine, so I would recommend it!

Didn't use my juicer that much and it broke.
The black plastic front black part, the closing clip cracked. doesn't look like I can order the part that's broken. and it's totally broken similar to other people's complaints l. You'd think for an expensive juicer it'd be better. I'm not sure if I can get a refund. I'm very upset about this. I was really looking forward to juicing. I only put one carrot in and it cracked.
