KIWI design Head Strap Compatible with Quest 2 / Quest 1 / Rift Accessories, Headband to Reduce Head Pressure, Comfortable PU Leather (Black)

KIWI Design have been releasing a number of VR based products in order to try and offer more comfort in the medium, and the Oculus Quest Head Strap is another one that does just that. The extra support it provides to reduce the pressure and discomfort from the front heavy design of the Quest is great, and it certainly allows for those longer sessions in the HMD. Made with a high quality and easy to clean PU leather material, with the only downfall being the slight movement you might feel when playing more active games with this material choice.

This has helped reduce pressure on my head therefore I can spend more time on VR without my head hurting after plus I think it makes it more comfortable. The only problem which was kind of expected is that it can sort of get in the way of headphones but if they can expand large enough it is fine. I cut off the little velcro strap which was meant for the quest 1. Overall, it does help reduce pressure and I would recommend it. :)

After getting my Quest like most people I looked to make it more comfortable. My biggest issue was pressure around the top of my cheeks and a slight pressure point on the back of my head. Everybody's heads are different shapes and sizes so I get the Quest is not going to be a perfect fit for everyone, so I had hoped this strap might help in some way to solving these problems. However i'm not convinced it helps, hence giving it 3 stars. It's fitted correctly as per the instructions and I even checked a few youtube channels to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious. But I still have the same pain points and they seem to develop on the same time period.Additionally, an interesting challenge it introduced was when sharing the headset. The portable nature of the Quest means you will want to take it places and show it to people. With this additional strap, I have found that adjusting it more difficult, so when I travel with it the strap comes off.

I read the reviews of this strap at 16 quid i thought it was a bit pricey for a strapSo i bought another one from amazon for 6 quid....it was horrible i used it once and binned it.i then took the plunge and bought the kiwi this strap is really comfortable it anchors to the quest straps,And most importantly it takes the weight from the front of the quest,it makes the quest a much better experience and a pleasure to use.i dont know why oculus released the quest with such an uncomfortable head strap.but the kiwi strap at 16 quid fixed the problen for me,i recommend it to anyone

This strap is about as useful as a sock with no hole to put your foot in. It’s absolutely pointless and does nothing to make the oculus quest more comfortable. People giving this 4 or 5 stars must have a secret in getting this head strap to be comfortable. I am sure my head is a normal shape like everyone else’s but after playing box grater for one hour, the amount of times I had to adjust the strap was laughable. There has to be better options out there and my advice would be look elsewhere.

However this head strap is hit and miss, if your head contour fits in it then this is amazing like my daughter is comfortable in it but for me made no difference.5star for idea and quality of item but its just too expensive for what it is.

If you'd look at the other reviews you'd expect to be receiving the ultimate comfort addition but compared to my cheap Chinese head strap this thing does absolutely nothing. It sits way too far on the back of my head to be able to serve any kind of useful purpose and disregarding the little loop to put it more towards the front is rather uncomfortable since the material isn't very soft and pliable.One additional star for the nice build quality but don't fall in the same trap I did and believe the other reviews - Looks like they all got sponsored. I'll stick to my $4 strap for now, thank you very much!

This helps distribute the weight well. Just a point to note. The instructions are shocking. Not easy to follow and do not make sense. That said the product is good and after working out how to attach it works well. A thing you need if using the quest for longer period of times

This product is even better than I expected.I love my Quest but there is only one big flaw and that is that it gets very uncomfortable because all the weight is in the front.As soon as I installed the headband to the Quest I noticed that the headband is more supported and I no longer feel any pressure in my cheeks; The headband feels like it give more body to the straps and it may not be, but it looks the same kind of material of the original head strap so it matches perfectly, the Velcros feel super high quality and the middle strap helps to keep the headband where you need it .I'm very happy with this product and I do recommend it.

I always felt the Quest is top heavy so this headband actually alleviates the weight and pressure from the headset. Why put something in the back of ur head for counter balance, this product does its job and its better. Putting on the headband on the unit is pretty easy as the package comes with instruction. The material is made from the same stuff from the KIWI knuckle strap so it's easy to wipe if you sweat on it. Overall I'm very happy at the product quality from KIWI

Da die Oculus Quest, leider sehr frontlastig ist, muss man hier etwas modifizieren. Hierbei hilft das Band sehr, da es das Gewicht nach hinten verlagert. Mit den neuem KIWI Akkupack, wird es dann perfekt und die Brille wird sehr bequem. Im Zusammenspiel mit dem "KIWI design Powerbank für Oculus Quest VR Headset" ist das Band perfekt geeignet um den maximal Komfort zu ermöglichen.

Creo que es caro para lo que es pero es de buena calidad. Lo utilizamos para que a un niño que lo utiliza de manera esporádica le quede más sujeto y lo hemos acabado utilizando todos. Lleva un velcro que facilita el ajuste. Ojala el fabricante lo llevara de serie.
