This is a great book with some interesting facts and beautiful photos of Central Park.

It has been difficult to find a book that visually captures the entire park. So far, this is the best I have found. The photography is beautiful. It also has the history of the park.

The cover photo is a gorgeous example of what lies within the book, as all of the photos are really lovely and they were taken in all four seasons. There are also a few old photos in black-and-white, and they're charming.

Have been to New York several times, never making it past the park's main entrance. Never realized either the enormous size of the park or the diversity of natural and man-made wonders contained therein. This book has definitely served as a motivator for my next booking - of a Central Park-themed excursion. Until then, will just have to content myself with the book's visuals (and useful narratives).
