Clear Cut Spiral Slicer Spiralizer - Vegetable Cutter - Zucchini Pasta Noodle Spaghetti Maker

I purchased two of these for Christmas, one for myself and one for my daughter. I am excited to use mine, as I have been wanting one for quite some time - it came with recipes - which is a great addition. The box keeps opening and the parts keep falling out, which is slightly disappointing, as I do like to store things in their boxes. Other than that, I am looking forward to my new gadget.

Used my new spiralizer tonight on our first ever home grown zucchini along with some meat sauce made with last year's frozen bounty of roasted tomato sauce. I had only had spiralizer zucchini one other time and was surprised how delicious it was and how I didn't miss the pasta. So I purchased the Sevant spiralizer because I only cook for 2 and the price was right! It worked really well. However, the zucchini became trapped between the plastic pieces and not even my small brush could get to it. So it won't really clean up. Not sure what to do about that. Any ideas beside the obvious "return it". Has this happened to anyone else?

I wanted a spiralizer which I could carry in my suitcase, this is perfect. I made zoodles for my son's family and they loved it. I thought it would be a pain to make enough for four people. My error. It took a little extra effort but I'm 70 and I spiralized 5 large zucchini in no time at all. If you've been wanting to try spiralizing this would be a perfect and affordable way to begin.

Such a great little tool! The sharp peeler that comes with the spiralizer starts the process of making the noodles so easy. Next is the spiralizing and it's a breeze with the Clear Cut. I'm trying to go low carb and this is going to make it easy to do.

Great product and fast delivery. Love the storage bag so the finger protecting pusher can stay with the unit and not get lost with that crazy random sock!

This product is a lot more confusing than I'd originally thought. It kinda all falls apart in your hand and I'm not really sure how to get it to work successfully yet.

Made a great Christmas present and has helped the family eat healthier.

A little difficult to use very manual intensive

For the price, this is an ok product. I didn't have excedingly high expectations, and it was what I expected. Works well for zucchini and cucumbers. I've had zero luck with any harder vegetables like carrots or beets. I'm ok with that, because I mostly wanted it for zucchini anyway. The end peice that is supposed to allow you to turn the veg, is garbage, it just shreds the end of the veg. I have to do it by hand. Which I'm fine with, just watch your fingers, the tines are easy to catch your fingers on and ouch, they are sharp. There is a bit of the end of the veg which you can't use, I just chopp it up and throw it in with the "zoodles" or the sauce. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase.

I really like it. Blades are nice and sharp. So far I have made zucchini. Butternut squash zoodles. I've also used it for potatoes. The key is making sure whatever you're using is nice and firm. As some of the other reviews of said there is a little bit of waste but not much. The storage bag is Handy to keep everything together in the cupboard. Being clear it makes it easier to clean. There is a little bit of a learning curve to get nice consistent noodles but after that it's all good. I find I'm eating a lot more vegetables now. And it makes for very quick stir-frys.The peeler that comes with it works very well also.

I keep getting emails to review this item, it is quite a niuscence. I just used it for the first time so here I am. It works well, I have nothing to compare it to but it did the job and the blades are nice and sharp. It doesn't clean well (even with the cleaning wand it comes with), the zucchini gets wedged between the blade and the plastic and then you can't get it out. The bag that comes with it smells awful, I thought airing it out would get rid of them smell but it didn't, and it stunk up my whole cupboard...it smells like moth balls or chemicals.

It works, but isn't that easy to clean. It comes with a little brush to clean the blades, but the blades just end up slicing up the brush bristles. It's great that it comes with a storage bag, but it needs to be just a bit bigger to fit everything in there - and that's still an issue even if you store the peeler separately. It's not very comfortable to hold on to. I do like that it's double-sided - two different size "noodles". Customer Service was great. Nice of them to send a recipe book.

I really wanted to like this spiralizer but can't give it a good rating. Mainly because it was impossible to clean. The zucchini got stuck in the blades and the plastic, and I couldn't get it out with the little brush provided or any other tool I tried with it. Almost cut myself a few times trying to clean it. And let's face it, if you can't clean it, you can't use it again. Had to throw it out. Very sad, as it did cut the noodles pretty well and made good spirals. But for a one time use, it is definitely not a good buy.
