Pros: These glasses are (1) beautiful; (2) heighten the flavor of wine; and (3) are priced well.Cons: (1) I found them unpleasant to drink from because the lip curves in at an extreme angle, so you have to change the way you normally drink from a glass, both in the way you place your head and mouth and by tipping the glass back considerably, as opposed to being able to sip from the edge, a graceful and natural movement which is one of the pleasures of drinking wine from all other glasses I've used.(2) They are way too tall to fit in our cabinets.(3) They are a beast to clean. A regular bottle brush reaching the bottom will put the handle in contact with the delicate rim. There is no way with sponge or rag to clean them, so I had to buy a set of special brushes for stemware. Each glass requires an elaborate washing routine with a sponge for the outside, lots of space in the sink, and 2-3 special stemware brushes for the inside.Fortunately, Amazon reviews helped me find and select the brushes, but I just hate having my life further cluttered with stuff to take care of stuff and extra maintenance routines.I go through the trouble of this elaborate washing, have made a special shelf in the kitchen to house the glasses that don't fit in any of our cabinets and have created a spot for the new set of brushes to hang to dry only because my wife likes the glasses. The glasses themselves are fine, but the fuss of owning and using them is not worth it to me.
