This was my second order of the Youtheory Advanced Collagen. I have been taking it for about 6 months. I do not take the full recommended dose of 6 pills because it is just too many pills in addition to the other vitamin supplements I take. I have been using this because I am 65 years old and have lost about 120 lbs in the past 3 or so years. Our skin is not as resilient at age 65 as it was at 40 or 30. I am pleased that to me it seems that I have regained some elasticity in the areas of my body that are droopy and saggy from the weight loss. The skin on my face and neck is firmer now and my hair is no longer falling out at an alarming rate. I recommend this product if you are having any of the same issues that I have been experiencing. The pills are somewhat larger than the average sized pill, but there is no side effects to them and they go down easy. I also think that they are helping in the daily energy level i have been maintaining, and when I wake up I feel fantastic and ready to face the day.

Excellent product. It makes my skin glow and even gets rid of scaly skin on legs. Take it consistently. People asked me often why do I look so young? I believe this product helps.

Good collagen tablets. Vegetarian formula. With vitamin C. This really works for me. It's a rather large pill to swallow. It was hard to swallow at first but then you get used to it. Helps my joints and skin.

I give 4 stars because I believe it’s a good quality product. Whether it really makes a difference is hard to tell. What I didn’t realize is that for my purpose, nail growth, the Marine Collagen is what I want. Marine Collagen is type I, which is made from fish skin and scale. It absorbs up to 1.5 times faster than bovine (cow) collagen (type III). Type I is primarily used to promote skin elasticity, reduce fine lines, and support hair and nail health. Normally these Collagen are abundantly present in the human body, but I read that taking supplements makes nails grow (12%) faster. Currently. I’m treading nail fungus and want increase nail growth.

I am 60 years old and was taking collagen for my skin but my joints are shot I was a delivery person for 35 years and had trouble with my body then I fell and felt like I had broke everything so I decided to take this brand because it's very strong and within a month all my pain went away and I can actually move again with no pain the pills are big but it's worth it for me I will purchase this as long as they have it I highly recommend this.

Over the years, this is the only brand of collagen that I've used that I have noticed that my hair grows faster! The tablets are on the smaller side, but you do take six a day. So I split it up and take three in the morning and three in the evening.

I wanted to finish the entire bottle first to do a review. I have done quite a bit of research on collagen intake for the best results that'll work (well enough) for me. Pros: less shedding and hair breakage, hair volume maintained (didn't see growth but also wasn't losing more than I did before), effective results after religious use (may be because it absorbs longer in the GI tract), and facial skin suppleness looks like it improved (in conjunction with Korean skincare regimen). Not much improvement on joints that I noticed, although, I would occasionally get inflammation in my shoulder and didn't have any while taking this supplement. Cons: takes time to build up (once, I wasn't taking it daily for a week and noticed my hair starting to thin/shed more again), takes 6 pills = 6g (not enough to see/feel a major difference based on what I've researched), pills are easy to swallow but taking 6 daily makes me gag sometimes (thick tablets and literally taste like bones if not swallowed good enough), and it was tiring taking 6 pills everyday. Overall, I would recommend this to maintain collagen health or if you want your body to get use to collagen supplements. If wanting to see big improvements, then dosage may need to be increased but taking 6 pills everyday is tiring and not enough grams to see a huge difference.

Let me say this, right out of the box, that it is a great product. I've been taking them for while now. I would like to say I'd noticed a dramatic difference like many of the reviewers, I'd noticed a huge difference while taking them as far as shape of my face and quality of my skin was concerned. This product actually made my nails healthier, though haven't seen much difference in hair growth, but than again you win some and loose some 😄. It has even faded sun spots on my face as well. Only other thing that's bit negative if any having to take six pills of it a day is a bummer, but love the product.
