The color is really pretty. The squeeze bottle makes it easy to combine colors or monitor distribution. I do not notice a bitter taste. So far, so good!

I'm really sensitive to red food coloring because I can taste the bitterness and "fake" flavor but this is extraordinary! I'm so pleased with the quality, shade of red and the taste. I'm so glad I bought this particular color, it looks amazing on cookies and mixed into frosting PLUS the color is so deep that you don't have to use a whole bottle to get the shade you need. This is my go to brand for food coloring from now on.

It made red!! I felt the royal icing color came out better than buttercream but the both are red!! It did take almost a full bottle. It’s color come in time. Get it pretty dark and then let it sit. I made the royal icing the night before and it was perfect by morning. Buying more!!

Easy to use

Still more pink than red but Americolor is my favorite dye. Very concentrated so you don't have to add as much for deep color, therefore not altering taste or consistency of food. I recommend

It is a bright, orangey red as opposed to a deep red. It works well with only a few drops and it didn't change the icing flavor.

I used this food coloring for my macarons and even with couple of drops, it added nice coloring on my macaron shells. I would recommend it if you're pursuing a pastry field.

This color produces a great red! No aftertaste.
